Bio
The shaping of Tony Lasley as a musician began early: Lasley was 9 years old when he saw the Beatles live in concert. While growing up near the Malibu coastline, music from talents such as The Beatles, Jobim, Getz/Gilberto and Brazil 66 were steadily heard in the Among a multitude of musical accomplishments was Lasley’s title as the house guitarist for the legendary Hotel Del Coronado where he performed for ten years. Lasley also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music.
On several occasions, Lasley’s talent has earned him invitations to play with/for Dan Folgelberg, Eliza Gylkison, Dennis Weaver, Dan Bern, Jim Messina, Michael Weatherly (Actor NCIS), Jeff Fenholt (Original lead in Jesus Christ Superstar), Justine Pasek (Miss Universe), Tripp and Peter Sprague.
Lasley has composed and performed musical scores for radio, television and film through industrial conglomerates such as MasterSource, Jingle Punks, Chess Records and Mediatone Music Inc.
Movies/Films such as, Super Natural (2010), The Cook (2008), A Beautiful Friendship (2007), Running Red (2002), Heartbreakers (2001), Seven Days (2001), Miramax Pleasures (2001), Chips (1999) and American Angles (1989) feature music written and performed by Lasley.
