Bio
Tony Dowdy grew up in Clarksville, TN and is a singer/songwriter currently living in Los Angeles where he has made a living as a performer on the stage, in TV and Films and as a studio singer. In 2001 he walked away from the entertainment business and built a successful career for himself as a residential real-estate broker. In 2006 the death of a close friend, woke him up to the fact that he gave up on fulfilling his hopes and dreams and he has embraced the artist within ever sense. In 2007, he was a finalist in the Music City Songwriting Competition and will be a featured singer at the 2008 Gold Boot Awards Show warm-up party for the American Television and Film Fund .
