Todd Jang is stepping into the spotlight as a singer, songwriter and an artist. Just a few years ago he was having success on the Canadian opera scene, singing roles with several opera companies across the country.
This was closely followed by two years touring North America performing to sold out crowds as one third of opera crossover group Romanza.
Being on the road so much gave Todd time to grow personally and professionally. As fulfilling as performing with Romanza was, he felt a need for a creative outlet on a more personal level.
While touring, Todd began to write music and lyrics for what has become his debut solo EP, "Todd Jang". The creative process of transforming an idea into a complete and polished song proved to be just the outlet he had been looking for.
Showing little trace of his classical background Todd's self-titled debut disc marks his arrival as a versatile and powerful pop vocalist and songwriter. Piano heavy ballads are infused with smooth R&B, Soul and Jazz to create a sound that is all Todd Jang.
