Toast

Toast is a Long Island New York based rock jam band. They have just released their first self titled album, and work will begin on their second album project in December of this year. Founders Brian Mancuso and Luke LaGrega were introduced by a mutual friend at a gig. Brian later met Evan Kuriga while the two were working at a local music store. The three started writing and playing together. Derek Rusinek, a long time friend of Brian's, stepped in on bass. Richie Gelorum, a long time co-writer of Brian's returned to working with the band on the Toast project after some time away. With the combination of Richie' s grungy guitar and lyrical writing, Derek's Motown and funk influences, Luke's solid rhythms, Brian's tasty psychedelic guitar playing and writing, and Evan's soulful vocals, the members of Toast are finding their groove with just the right mix of lyrics and sound. Their musical influences range from rock&roll to funk, blues, jazz, R&B and hip hop.

Toast has appeared at fundraising events for local charities and the band members gig together regularly at local bars and restaurants.
