Performs locally and is taking his brand of Melodic Groove to a national audience. TJ recently performed on the radio for the Old Fashioned Live Christmas Show on Sunny 95. He has also performed on Wags and Elliot QFM 96.3 Morning Show to aid in a local benefit. Sometime ago Dick Clark said that songs are the photo album of our lives. That has never been truer for someone like me that chronicles the moments in his life through songs. They symbolize the apex and convergence of the strongest emotions with the most seminal events I experience and then on to the next and the next.
Those of you following the saga on-line know parts and pieces of the making of this project, Melodic Groove, and the long unexpected journey it truly was. Those whom are directly involved in my life from day to day know themselves as the muse and inspiration for the songs subject matter which range from celebration, agony, new love, bad love, good love, death and most of all living hope.
The journey in the making of Melodic Groove brought me in contact with players locally and legendary musicians on the coasts. David Lasley who has sung for James Taylor for 33 years and boasts his own string of top ten songs was gracious enough to add his brand of blue eyed soul to this project. Michael 'Miguelli' Sgueglia whose guitar stylings can be heard all over Melodic Groove and has also played for countless renowned artists in the business including Sting, Nora Jones, Sara Barielles and has a new song in the latest Sex in the City 2 movie. The countless musicians on Melodic Groove are some of the best in Columbus, Ohio therefore I am proud to straddle both the local and west coast scenes.
May 27th saw the unofficial release of Melodic Groove and a special unofficial release party for close family and friends at Cementos in Upper Arlington. It was a genuinely humble experience to play these songs with a seasoned band to an enthusiastic audience. I can only say this was a hell of a ride...let's do it again soon, shall we?

Bio
TJ is an award winning songwriter that has written for television and movie. He has written with multiple top ten hit makers. He has multiple solo CDs, Melodic Groove, Abilene and Fragmented Soul: Volume 1, respectively. TJ also has a CD which is a shared effort with fellow songwriter, Jasey Schnaars, titled TJC-One. His newest solo release, titled Fragmented Soul: Volume 1 is for sale via digital download.
TJ’s influences are a fusion of Pop, R&B, Folk and Blue-Eyed Soul to create what he calls Melodic Groove. He performs nationally and is taking his brand of Melodic Groove to an unlimited audience. TJ recently performed for the nationally distributed ‘Songs at the Center’ on PBS and also effectively delivered a Tedx which weaved music and a personal story that connected with folks universally.
TJ has shared the stage with award winning songwriters and international touring artists such as Jesse Terry, Rebecca Loebe, Raina Rose, David Berkeley, Robby Hecht and Korby Lenker. TJ has also opened for artists such as Maxwell Hughes of The Lumineers and touring artist Joe Crookston.
TJ's upcoming release explores further Pop, Blue Eyed Soul roots along with Americana flavors.
