"Forever Young"

"The way siblings Nicola (drums) and Giovanna Vedovati (bass) attack their instruments like theyre about to be taken awayand how singer-guitarist Diego Masciotti snarls his punky melodiesis almost enough to make us forgive Italy" (SPIN MAGAZINE)

Angular, wilfully dischordant and full of tude, this is a great breakout track from this Italian threesome. Which somehow sounds naughty, and it kinda is
(BEST OF MYSPACE UK BY GILL MILLS / NME - UK)

Siblings Nicola (drums) and Giovanna Vedovati (bass) beat their instruments to a soggy pulp while singer-guitarist Diego Masciotti snaps and snarls like a half starved pitbull. The tetchy trio, sound like three way sonic battle between Art Brut, Jay Reatardand a lo-fi punk rock version of the B52s.
If John Peel were alive Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger! would be guaranteed a place on the 2010 Festive 50 and thats why they deserve a place in your hearts
(ARTROCKER - UK)

Whispers is one of the best tracks released this year energetic, crashing and anthemic like The Clash, Cymbals Eat Guitars or Pretty Girls Make Graves Speakers Push the Air.
(THEIR BATED BREATH BLOG - USA)

You'd hope a band called that would be any good, wouldn't you? You'd almost call what these Italians do party darkness, full of pounding percussion, crossthread shout-outs and splintered post-punk reminiscent of a less Afro-ed Abe Vigoda (old style)
(SWEEPING THE NATION BLOG - UK)

Their potent guitar riffs and scattering percussion stride amongst surf/punk-rock territory think Surfer Blood, but good while the emotional terror in the vocals recalls 90s alt-rock band like Sunny Day Real Estate. These guys are well-rounded
(NEON MUSICAL INSIGHT - USA)

This band are incredible. I could purchase a thousand words and spread them out like the Robin Hood of word-mongery but it still wouldn't be enough to describe how wonderful this lot are
(THE 405 RECOMMENDED - UK)

In the pre-apopalypse when our world leaders at once realize the value of the arts as prophetic it is announced that Noahs Ark was in fact a spaceship, Baths are the meaning of life (from Roman to modern), and wellin the end of days there will be nothing but fierce and extinct Tigers tearing upon at our skin and souls. Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger!are fulfilling the latter prophecy day by day on insisting that relentless energy and passionate belief in a current state of sounds will be our personal savior, but fuck it and lets rock out with good times and good friends because its all gonna end sometime!
(THE FMLY BLOG - USA)

Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger! are an Italian three-piece who combine lighter elements of the past decades choppy disco-punk with a lurking, weighty rhythm section. Whispers, which is perhaps the bands most accessible song on their new EP, leans closer toward the latter half of that equation as the song bubbles beneath an energetic guitar line before the trio comes together and collectively erupts under the piercing sound of booming percussion.
(CULTURE BULLY - USA)

'Whispers' which is straight off their new 4 track EP which is set to land sometime in May and it's no surprise to learn that they've had interest from labels in the US and UK. They also played SXSW, a festival I think I'll have to go to one day, this year and earned themselves some rave reviews which is no real surprise becasue you can imagine that their old stuff would get crowds going pretty quickly.
I think what I like best is the rather drumming which just seems to drive the song really well, in fact I'd say the drums make this song, and it is also executed really well
(PINEAPPLE TOAST / VICE UK)

Whispers is loud, rhythmic, insistent, pounding and all sorts of other good things. TSTT is a post-punk trio consisting of Diego Masciotti, Nicola Vedovati & Giovanna Vedovati. They are playing all across Italy at the moment so if you happen to be in Florence or Verona you should stop by and check em out. Based on the single, Id wager they put on an energetic live show.
(Musical Pairings Blog - USA)

Whispers is the antithesis to a whisper, it is a noisy lo-fi sound with punk and new waves influences.
(friendswithbotharms BLOG - USA)

This lo-fi three-piece features raw guitar licks, snarled, yet whiny punk vocals and a drummer that sets it all on fire with music that hits post-punk, new wave and straight up punk at times. As you give them a listen, its easy to hear a blend of classic Cure, newer dancier bands and a heavy dose of early 90s Pacific Northwest punk rock. Along with all of this, their name truly owns.
(Ryan Cooper / ABOUT.COM - USA)

If nothing Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger! would just be a memorable name. Luckily, they also play some solid indie punk musicyou know, the type that makes you want to dance and commit arson at the same time.

"Be Yr Own Shit review"

Hands down for the best name for a band: Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger!
This 8-track EP comes from a New York trio. It has a very garagey/DIY punk feel to it. What comes across is that they are fun, fun, fun!
You shouldn't take them too seriously - I mean, just look at their name! Spin magazine agrees with me, they recently put a blurb about them in their September issue.
Like typical punk music, these eight songs are all very short, practically all under three minutes each. The most interesting song on the EP is "Insert Disco Beat Here", which seems to have some sort of synth or keys in there. I reckon the best song is the introduction song: "Crime Wave". This is a high-energy song, complete with Superchunk-ish singing.
If you enjoy brand new raw/unpolished punk, you should check these guys out. They are going to be playing with the legendary The Slits on October 22nd! - weheartmusic.vox.com

From Italy, come Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger! - a frantic upbeat trio of indie kids with a predisposition for hip track jackets and good music.
Their new album, Be Your Own Shit just came out and I really enjoy it. It’s eight tracks of punk-funk and the singer sounds like the dude from the Rapture. Great first release from Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger! Take a listen and support Italian punks while their country fights political crisis - eyesforindie.blogspot.com

"Allmusic.com"

The curiously named Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger! hail from central Italy, where vocalist/guitarist Diego Maciotti, bassist Giovanna Vedovati, and her drumming brother Nicola began sculpting their angular blend of new wave and post-punk influences in 2006. Also going by their adopted names of Tiger D, Tiger G and Tiger N, the trio were soon busy performing up and down the Italian boot while working on demos for eventual first album, Be Yr Own Shit, which was released in 2008 by independent To Lose La Track Records. Although limited by spotty distribution, the disc garnered largely positive reviews from those who heard it, dredging up comparisons ranging from the Cure and Gang of Four, to the Rapture and Franz Ferdinand, by way of the Kill Rock Stars roster, in between. - http://allmusic.com/
