Bio
We are Thursdays In Suburbia. We are a band based out of Southern California, nestled in the Inland Empire. We began in 2015, and a few twists and turns later we find ourselves at ages 14 to 17 writing, producing and performing our brand of music for the young and young at heart alike.We love the stage and there is nothing better than a great set; seeing the enjoyment we bring to those in the audience and the excitement it creates fuels us.
We are a four piece band, our lead vocalist, Serena Tario, is 15 years old; Serena began her career at the age of 12. Liam Eastwood is our guitarist, he began plucking at the strings at the age of 7 and now at 15 he leads on guitar for us. Reece Borski, 17, began on guitar at the age of 10 and migrated to the bass at 15 and has never looked back. Our boy Aiden Kunhardt began cracking drum heads at the age of 5 and at 15 now, he is the backbone of the band.
Our music is influenced by our somewhat eclectic pallet.Our tastes range from the slow and haunting ballads of bands like Mazy Star and Radio Head to the fast and adrenalized sounds of bands like Royal Blood, Sublime and System of the Down. Yes, it is quite a spread, we know, and we hope it comes through to our audience, whom we let judge for themselves.
We have been blessed with the opportunity to play on small and large stages alike, ranging from community events in our home base in and around Eastvale, Ca., to venues such as the House of Blues, Whiskey A Go Go and most recently Vans Warped Tour. Whether large or small, we love to perform on stage and most importantly bring our music to the audience. We are also actively recording and releasing music, with one of our most recent original pieces, Last Chance, being brought to a new medium, at least new for us, a music video, which is currently making the rounds on YouTube.
As most musicians, certainly young ones such as us, our interest and experience continues to evolve and we endeavor to continue to represent that experience in our music and hope to continue to be able to share our passion with everyone for many years to come. If you have been with us since the beginning, we appreciate all the love and support you have given us; if you are learning about us for the first time, we truly hope you like what you hear and will let us know what you think. It has been a great ride so far, and you can see the evidence of that as well as continue to track our activity on our social media.
