Throttle

Throttle is a hard rock band that formed in the year 2000. Members Ryan Schurman, Chris Maruzzi, and Nick Millili all hail from Aston PA. After creating and practicing original music, which contributed to their first album ("WIDE OPEN" 2001), they began playing shows at venues like The Pontiac (South Street Philly), Brownies 23 east (Ardmore, PA), and Rex's (West Chester) to name a few. With growing popularity they began playing festivals, parties, Battle of the Band competitions, even having their single "Pick Up The Pieces" played on 93.3 WMMR during a contest to open for Default at spring break. After completion of their second album ("Beat The Strings" 2004) Throttle has been widening their fan base, continuing to play local venues around the greater Philadelphia region. By continuing their hard work Throttle hopes to make a signifigant contribution to the local original music scene.
