Metal. I heard metal from somewhere...a cool ass
intro...almost as cool as "Flight Times Egyptian
Solo"...it was Lucifer and ThinksoBrain and they had
come to welcome us all to armageddon. Heavyness and
a Shroud Of Gloom took over the club, I thought I saw
Elvis selling flowers...Holy Crunchyness flooded the
club for the first time of the night, I wanted to
mosh, but had trouble walking...I think I managed to
do the robot...lol...next thing I know they covering
Metallica-For Whom The Bell Tolls...good cover, bad
band choice, That band was yesterday a good 10 years
ago for me...wanna show me you can play Thrash...???
Try covering a Vio-Lence tune, that would impress me.
They redeemed next song with Burning The Bush and
some mean cowbell, thought they could have used a bit
more, cowbell that is...it's there, you already hit
it...do it some more!(For the patron saint of the cow
bell...Christopher Walken.) Good set, totally wasted
and nearly ready for a cab... - allwnyradio.com's Thumb
From the very rim of the thundering Niagara Escarpment comes the demo from Thinksobrain, a relatively new metal band that's just starting to put themselves out there for consideration! Take one part Marilyn Manson, two parts King Diamond (from his RC Records days) and one part Metallica and you have an idea of what Thinksobrain is all about.
The demo includes three songs, plus a couple of live tracks added on by ThinkSoJoe. King Of Chaos has a definite Marilyn Manson vibe. It was probably my least favorite track on the disc, but well executed. It just had this sort of slow-grinding vibe that I don't get into (but some love). Burning The Bush is a "tribute" to big oil presidents and the spiraling price of gasoline. Expected has a much more radio-friendly sound to it than the other two. Expected has an almost punk sensitivity to it. The live tracks $%^&ed up and Albino both show a metal band starting to transition from a sound of pure noise to a musical application of the concept of musicality.
I believe that ThinkSoBrain has a future, albeit perhaps not on these shores. The style of music they are making is probably much more commercially viable on the distant shows of Japan and/or Northern Europe. Nevertheless, ThinkSoBrain's 2007 Demo shows definite promise. - wildysworld.blogspot.com

Perhaps the only band to ever cover Metallica and Garth Brooks in the same show, Niagara Falls, NY-based thinksobrain bring a wide variety of influences to the table. Previously describing their sound as "the bastard children of an orgy between Metallica, Tool, and White Zombie,"" the Western New York metal quartet have developed their own unique sound, pleasing crowds all through the greater Buffalo area, and impressing fans worldwide with their Quzar Musik-produced demo.
thinksobrain live shows have become the stuff of legend. Going into a performance, the band themselves are only sure of one thing - the songs on the setlist. From giving away Spice Girls CDs autographed by the band, to pouring Jack Daniels down the throat of fans, to holding human auctions, virtually anything can happen at a thinksobrain show. Getting the crowd involved and giving them a memorable performance is the band's mission every time they take the stage.
With "Burning The Bush" being named as the official theme song of Twenty-Nine Cent Productions' "Impulse" event, and "King of Chaos" appearing on Quickstar Productions' complation CD "Downtown Metal: Volume 6," thinksobrain's musical stock is on the rise. What will the future hold for these four best friends? Only time will tell.
