Thieves of Paradise wasted no time recording their self-titled EP, a blistering offering of songs that soars like a pop hit, but hits with the ferocity of a wall of Mesa Boogie half stacks. The first single is for “Wake The Dead,” and in our humble opinion it is the perfect introduction to the band. You know the guitars are going to rock and the foundation is going be rock solid, but interestingly the band also incorporates a harpsichord sound that weaves in and out, adding a new dimension to the traditional hard rock sound.
For the “Wake The Dead” video, the boys of Thieves of Paradise have delivered a wickedly good clip. Using their Hollywood hookups they were able to pull off a feature length quality video that has all of the elements to make viewers scream with delight. The video’s narrative is based on one seriously deviant chick, and the effect she has on the men around her. She looks like an angel, but she’ll these men alive. Literally.
The band also puts on a blistering performance to accompany the video. With their faces painted in traditional calaca style and the lighting bleeding a crimson red color, the band’s performance is every bit as sinister as the evil temptress! It’s dark, it’s gloomy, and it’s sure to really make your skin crawl in the best way possible. - HIP Video
"Sometimes the greatest horror in the world is seeing someone for the monster that they really are, and THIEVES OF PARADISE drive that point home in this clever clip." - Brian Lush, RockWired Magazine, May 2016 - RockWired Magazine

Bio
Thieves of Paradise is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. The group was formed when Justin Gagnon (bass) and Tom Nolle (keys) approached Steven Good (vox/guitar) about forming an alt-rock band with a California pop sound. The chemistry was instant. The trio went on to try several drummers, before settling on all-around talent Ryan Kellis and added singer Adrianna Rose Lyons, who then became part of the most thievish rock band ever conceived.
