«The Weatherman sounds like what might happen if The Beach Boys and Syd Barrett joined hands and sang "Cum Bai Ya"; or if Elliott Smith listened to The Beatles every day of his life, played every instrument under the sun, added some fancy keyboarding and sound bytes, and went frolicking through a field of daisies instead of using heroin». - Allegra Willis in Hybrid Magazine
«From Revolver-era Beatles and early '70s Beach Boys to Blur and Menomena, the Weatherman threads together the whole history of skewed-yet-sunny pop music.» - Michael Keefe in Pop Matters

Bio
The Weatherman was created in 2006 by Alex Monteiro - mentor, singer and songwriter.
Nowadays, the band is a quartet composed by Alex Monteiro, the drummer Nuno Sarafa, the bassist João André and Sérgio Alves (keyboards)
With three released albums: "Cruisin Alaska" in 2006, "Jamboree Park at the Milky Way" in 2009, and "WEATHERMAN " in 2013, The Weatherman returns in 2013 reinventing itself, with it's poppier record to date and simultaneously more autobiographical.
Simply titled "Weatherman," the new album will feature 12 pop songs wrapped in a sound that carries influences from electronic music to european folk, bringing a new identity to The Weatherman path.
