Bio
Husband and wife songwriting duo, Aaron and Amanda Konzelman, form the band The Union Revival. They have both been singing since they were kids and met in college via a music class in 2001.
They started writing together, performing together, and eventually partnering in marriage in 2003. Since, they have traveled and performed all across the USA, Europe and South America. And now have a 10-year daughter and a 7-year old son who also both love music and are learning the family trade.
The band's sound is a modern storyteller/folk rock with a bit of Americana and acoustic rock vibe, a tapestry of vivid storytelling entwined with haunting melodies. They draw their musical influences from artists like The Civil Wars, David Wilcox, Bruce Cockburn, Mark Cohn, Mumford and Sons, Allison Krause, Johnny Cash, Chris Stapleton and Ray LaMontagne.
In addition to touring, Aaron and Amanda lead worship for churches, camps and retreat events.
"Our hope is that our songs, whether they are sung inside the walls of a church building or a hole in the wall coffee shop, Saloon or sidewalk…will ring true and resonate with someone’s heart. Maybe we can put to music what someone has been trying to say but could not find the words. We love people, authenticity and telling the story of the struggles and victories that are common to all of us. Regardless of race, color, wealth or creed we are all on this journey trying to find meaning, love and purpose. We love finding those stories as we meet people on our journey, and share our story with them.” The Union Revival
Reviews
“The Union Revival brings harmony, melody and beauty together and transforms it into inspiration. Their voices are ethereal, truly an amazing talent in a duo. Their music is unique and refreshing. Their stage presence is high energy and engaging with great audience interaction. If you ever get the chance to hear them, you don’t want to miss these two!”
-The Grape Wine & Bistro
"You guys are incredibly seasoned. Great duo. Perfect harmony. Love to see you in a bigger venue where people are truly immersed in the vocal imagery you both create. Amanda has this minuscule attach ahead of your lines and then drags the back end of the same line so gracefully. I'm thankful that I had front row center seats for a brief moment. Few possess these gifts in a small Texas town. Must be the water."

And I wouldn't change a minute or a single breath of the journey to HERE."-Aaron, The Union Revival
