With a ’50s and ’60s vocal vibe, the Treelines’ Amanda Newton adds clarity and flair to lyrics like “It’s not me that you’re thinking of,” her voice holding its own against the accompanying guitars and drums. Ryan Becker and Tony Ferrarro trade off on guitar and bass, with Grady Sandlin handling the drums.

Bio
Formed in 2011 and hailing from Denton, TX, The Treelines are a rootsy rock n' soul band led by singer/songwriter Amanda Newton. The rest of the band consists of Denton rock luminaries Grady Don Sandlin (drums), Ryan Thomas Becker (guitar/bass), and Tony Ferraro (bass/guitar). Influences include the poignant touch of a Lesley Gore, the raucous etiquette of The Ramones, and the twang of a Dolly Parton.
