A heavy tune addressing a heavy scene
The piano on this is real rich and and the band stays behind it all the way.It made me feel the conflict of hanging in through an imperfect relationship and the meloncholy that such a commitment can bring so I think the performance did it's job of living up to the pretty heavy subject matter of the tune

Great piano opening. Great vocal has a great quality to it.
Nice feel to the song.
Love the story, good hook.
I like the harmony also. Very interesting chord sequence starting around 2:15 This isn't one of your run of the mill churn em out songs.
Has a lot of depth to it. There something to it that keeps me interested in it.
Almost got a 60's pop structure to it.
- delevergin from Kyneton, Victoria, Australia on 20Mar2007
Great Sound
I like what the studio did with the voice .Good BG's , nicely planted in the song . Lyrics are what country is all about , I love it !! Nice touch with the piano too .

True Staying Power
This song is completely enjoyable. I love the rawness of the emotion of the singer. I was completely drawn into the story of the song. You had me captivated from the first word you sang.
Great work on the vocals and they are totally complimented by the background vocals. It is seldom that a song can stand on its own with such an acoustic sound, but you have succeeded. Excellent songwriting. The transitions throughout the song are flawless.
This song is definately a hit.
- DonnaRoberts from Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland, Canada on 15Mar2007
Nice voice
I like the voice. I think there needs to be more variety in the melody in the verses. You sound like the guy from Counting Crows a little bit. I would like to hear a better production though that showcased your voice more.
- JayneNelsen from Hendersonville, Tennessee on 15Mar2007

Hey, this piano is GORGEOUS, I love hearing songs like this. The voice is great, actually makes me think of Gary Allen at times. The lyrics are beautiful, well written song! Catchy melody! Awesome tune ya'll!

Depressing Subject
Great harmonies. I love the keyboard work on this song. Depressing subject but the melody and lead vocals make you listen.

Country righteous brothers.
Great vocal harmonies and a bit of a different song. Now and again it is traditional country and then it takes a turn where you werent expecting it to go. Tells a story that you find yourself listening to like a country song is supposed to. It just has this different sound to it. I don't know what to call it. Maybe "progressive country"? Great production and playing. Great job overall.

Stay
You started out this song really good with some really nice vocals but you got a little too pitchy for me with your voice. Example was the gun area and and a few other areas in the chorus. As the song grew older, and I do mean older (in age) seconds become minutes, minutes become years I was aking myself when you would hit me with the idea of eveything you were saying. To tell the truth i think you missed a really great idea to hammer me with the fact the woman stayed. The verses were far to long but the production of the song is really great, and the piano is wonderful.
- NashvilleBrass from Springfield, Tennessee on 5Mar2007
Reality from the get go!
This song has a real presence. Great topic and lyrics. The minimalalist intro really works. Great piano track. Good harmonies as well!
- ThadFoster from Parker, Arizona on 4Mar2007
Great country ballad
This is a very enjoyable song. It's a piano ballad with an acoustic guitar. Not too many country guys are going to do this any better. The singer has a full deep voice and sings the heck out of this song of longing. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, a harmony is added above his soaring voice (is Phil Everly in the house?). Wow, this is the shortest 5 minute song I've heard in a long time. Great sweet tune.5n Phil Vassar territory.
- gritchie from Wimberley, Texas on 2Mar2007
Several "mistakes along the way"....
I really hate to be so critical about anyone who writes and/or records their on music, but I really did not enjoy this song. First, I just never got into the lead vocalist at all. His sound just wasn't country to me at all. And the background vocals were below par at best.
The lyrics to the song were extremly depressing and there was way too much repetition in the chrous. also, the chord progression was strange to me at times, as if it was done that way to simply catch your attention instead of actually making sense to the progression of the song.
On a positive note, I thought the production of the music was above average and the musicians sounded like they were experienced and talented at their craft.
Overall, I really don't see this song ever being played on radio. It just doesn't have that "something" that grabs your attention and keeps it.
- scottyfontana from Dalton, Georgia on 1Mar2007

well...i like the melody but i think the lyrics tell a story thats people dont want to think about..it sounds like abuse going on ..i just think the subject matter is not good...vocals sound fine and all..the melody is what i like best ..

Cool.
A cross between Neil Diamond and Mickey Gilley!! Two of my favorites. Drums should have come in at about 1:20. I really like this song though. Original sound..I'm so sick of the "typical" Sounds going on right now.
- rugerrecords from Grand Rapids, Michigan on 26Feb2007
Great personal feeling!!!
A perfect country song that touches the heart strings, and the voice helps pull them even tighter.
I love the chorus harminies, helps create the message the song is trying to convey.
I can see a rock band playing this song as well, which gives it true versatility among genres.
Good piece of work here. The only thing i would change is the quality of the recording... everything else is perfect.
- PaulCummings from Bergen, New York on 26Feb2007
To long
Good vocals the intonation is good. The lyrics are good. Dynamics of the song are good. The piano is nice. The song is a bit to long.
- Sowbellyicious from Benalto, Alberta, Canada on 26Feb2007
review
the vocal has an overall good tone but some parts seem too proper and forced.
the arrangement sounds good.
the song itself is not bad but i'm not a huge fan of the hook.
not bad, good effort.
- nashvilleroth from Nashville, Tennessee on 24Feb2007
Stay
There's a very good idea here..."stay'...something that's been done before...but not as a hit...yet. This one is very interesting, but it's more of a track from a musical...it's long and makes some cool turns along the way...kinda McCartney turns. The verses are totally country...the rest very Pop.
But I see a guy on stage under a spotlight...there's just so much drama to the vocal and and it's not written for radio.
It's a very refreshing listen once the listener adapts to the heavy echo on the vocal.
- balladboy from Lake Oswego, Oregon on 19Feb2007
Good tunes
This is a good job .Just sounds like normal country. Song is endless , nothing fancy..
Good Luck...

Stay
Band: TIN ROOF
Genre: Country (New Country)
Bruce wore a Stetson...
There is so much going on in this song - that eventually we just gave up trying to stay with it. It starts out really sweetly with a beautiful piano intro, it sets up this great male vocal - cool tone - nice deep register - but - something wasn't quite right!
This song sounded like a rock band doing a country song - the little things like the reverb on the male vocal - the weird ass progressions - the high register stuff - at times we thought we were listening to Bruce Springsteen covering a Yes or America song - which should have sounded really cool - and this didn't.
The lyric grabbed us at the beginning, the picture of the beaten up girl at home making a break for freedom is one that we know and love, but by the end of the song we had no idea what happened...did she shoot him???
- Bigblackbus from Los Angeles, California on 24Jul2007
not to bad
Nice piano i think you should have a picking acoustic part in the beginning but other than that you have the nice country sound that makes me wanna go to sleep.
- coldbrains8 from Claxton, Georgia on 24Jul2007
Nice melody but
Very pleasant piano intro. The melody wasn't bad either. However, the lyrics were all over the place. I couldn't figure out in the chorous how the singer transitioned from her staying in the abusive relationship into he better stay. The storyline gets very confusing. We knew from the very first verse the whole story with the line she got a gun. He just took a long time to get there and kind of muddied up the stroy in doing so. The singer struggled with some notes and there were some awkward delivered lines/melody moments. A hesitation and then a carry over of a word breaks the concentration. This is a sad ballad, keep the lines flowing and simple. Don't need to throw in some twists and turns.
- btanabe from La Canada, California on 21Jul2007
Melodic and Poignant
Good melodies captured inside poignant moments provide a pleasant musical experience. The timbre of the lead vocal is very enjoyable and the harmonies work well. The musicianship is superb. The lyrical content grabs your attention from the beginning. Production is very good. The guitars and piano are clean sounding. Varying tempos command attention. Well done all around.
- bardbeat from Janesville, Wisconsin on 12Jul2007
Love it
Very nice song. Good strong chorus and singing. Everything flows great. Song keeps you into it from the start.
- MudfootTexas from Midland, Texas on 10Jul2007
Good feel
I really dig the feel on this one. I like the phrasing in the performance. This one is set to go. I only hope the A&R people can hear what I hear.
- Sivle from New York City, New York on 7Jul2007
Delicate power ballad
Wow, what a nice surprise this song was. The piano was tasty and dynamic, obviously performed by a pro. The layers began stacking nicely with the addition of the bass guitar and acoustic guitar(both spot-on parts too) in the first verse.
At 3:00, dropping the acoustic, but keeping the bass left a nice texture. It was a "breakdown" without breaking down.
Throughout the song, the dynamics really created a sense of direction. Obviously, a lot of attention was given to the arrangement and melodies! I enjoyed the 2nd time around a little more.
There were a few improvements that could have been made in the studio though. At :15, on the word "drinks" you can hear artifacts from pitch correction, but it wasn't noticeable in the rest of the song (other than having flawless pitch throughout).
I'm not sure if this final was just a poorly-compressed mp3 or if the engineer squashed it in mastering...but a great acoustic song like this doesn't need to be compressed too much. In fact, you would probably leave more emotion in the song if it can breathe dynamically a bit more. The mid-lows seemed a little muddy overall. GREAT tune though!
- BlueVelvetRon from Madison, Wisconsin on 5Jul2007
Country goes Broadway
A Jackson Browne flavored ballad. Crossing over the unexpected harmonic bridges, we somehow lose our way through the heart of the song. The final female vocal tries to bring us back.
- Rocktree from Hi Vista, California on 3Jul2007
Poignant
Well... first off, the grand piano intro was a great segue to the lyrical content. Digging into the depths of what happens to too many women is timely and meaningful. I found it interesting when "better not stay" sounded like "batter not stay." It adds to the message. The song has a folk rock feel but would do well in any genre. Kudos!
- jmyers from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada on 2Jul2007
Enjoyed the message
Enjoyed the lyrics very much. I would buy the album to see what else is in store. Feels like a Billy Joel Song! Enjoyed the mood & production. Song is rather long.. (maybe cut some off the end) but it was enjoyed either way. I found the lyrics the strongest point and enjoyed the message in the song.
- CowboyJason from Nashville, Tennessee on 2Jul2007
A little over-whelming
Piaono chords got me in but them I felt like I had a barrell of "heavy, heavy" issues tipped on me from above. A little more subtlty in the build up maybe? Hard to find a hook as it progressed
- geoffmca from Australia on 22Jun2007
Very Sexy
The song presentation and intro is very sexy. Very sexy voice. The vocals are great. The lyrics are very touching. Great production. Great job.
- kimberlyann62000 from Mechanicsville, Maryland on 21Jun2007
did she stay?
I can feel the sadness in the piano, good work. The song could use a steel guitar in the begining. Soften the guitar strumming a bit, overpowers the nice piano. Nice harmonics.
I am not sure what the story is.
The song is long. I am struggling to stay focused. you could cut off the last few high octave bars at the end. This would be a decent movie track.
- robsweet from Mesa, Arizona on 20Jun2007
Lyric tells a story, but...
I love piano intros! There were some areas where the words were hard to make out. (It's important in a song like this to hear the words well.)
While I REALLY like the premise, I found some lyrics were a little obscure - changing from first person narration to third in the same line.
"She told me how I stood, alone at the door, with the man in uniform, the ol' man had gone down..." (WHO was standing at the door? You? Her? I took it that she's telling you about standing at the door, shouldn't it be SHE stood?)
- DRWard from Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada on 15Jun2007
Vocals need some attention
The melody is a little catchy and I can sense where you want to go with the vocals and a little adjusting and staying with the musics behavior or changes can help make this song whole and portray what you want. Vocals are a major part in a songs potential successful strenght and trying to round off and control the lyrics properly can make this song so much more. But the lyrical aspect of this song is wonderful, I really enjoyed listening. I realize this is not a fully produced recording but I do get where the potential and dynamics for this song lay.
- RioGrand from Odessa, Texas on 9Jun2007
review
good vocals, nice tonal and colour range. overall the performance sounds proffesional.
good song aswell. i like the fact that it isn`t overproduced.
- echodeck from Unspecified on 4Jun2007
Excellent
Nice piano throughout. Very beautifully played. I'd love to hear it on a grand rather than a line-in keyboard.
Lyrically, I really like this song. You didn't try too hard on the rhyme, and it flows easy without being cliche.
Harmonically, there were some great modulations in here, the chorus in particular didn't follow the progession I expected, which made the lyrically simplistic chorus interesting enough to carry the song.
A question, are you doing your own harmonies in there? If so, impeccable pitch and blend, not a note was out of place on the harmony vocals - this is the first time I've been able to say that about any garageband song.
I guess the only thing I can say is I'd love to hear it with the full band with pro production. Great job.
- pgunning from Monroe, Washington on 2Jun2007
stay?
Abuse of any kind always makes for delicate subject matter for a song. That said, this tune succeeds at avoiding being preachy or in your face about its message. Instead it tells a story of an abusive spouse and how his behavior effects his family, specifically his wife who cannot leave the situation.
In regard to the music - its well done. Good strong vocals, fine playing throughout.
nice effort.
- seabelt from New York on 31May2007
nice song
Not bad stuff here. Decent vocal delivery and a great melody. Nice piano work. Interesting little story in these lyrics. Nicely done. Good writing. Solid arrangement. It is a bit too long though at 5 minutes. Might try to shorten it up by 30 seconds or so...just my opinion. Good chorus. I like the song. Good luck with it.

elton john goes country
pop piano
weak melody
nice lyrics
sensitive stuff
singer very good
- officerjay from Moscow, Idaho on 29May2007
Well Delivered.
1)This is a graphic song dealing with the subject of domestic violence. At five minutes long the song kept up my interest all the way.
2)Musical wise the singer has a Bob Seger Glen Campbell style voice with haunting piano running through the song .
3)The Production the delivery and the mix are flawless
THE DRUID
3)The production is clean and cut
- StephenG from Ireland on 26May2007
Another Mark Chestnut song
I like the vocals. Very reminiscent of M. Chestnut's the believers. I'm not crazy about the lyrics. Credit where it's due, it has a good melody, good overall vocals. Interesting aspects to the vocal phrasing. It would be a good song for softer female vocals. Not crazy about this song. Arrangement is adequate.
- ShawnMPerry from Flagstaff, Arizona on 25May2007

I liked the lyrics. The instrumentation is good, and the lead singer did a very good job.
- Explicitos from Costa Rica on 20May2007

The recording and mix is good
- don347 from Hollister, California on 20May2007
great song/too long
I liked this song from the start, great vocals, good playing, and a potentially a good song, but it becomes a little tedious, it could be condensed into a great radio track but is way too long
- dixiewombat from Albury, New South Wales, Australia on 15May2007
Almost love it
Really lovely melody, and excellent keyboard. The song is beautifully mixed. Vocals are absolutely solid. My only issue is the lyrics, which sound a little bit like an After-School Special. It's tricky to deal with such serious subject matter in this format and still sound legitimate.
- Pac14 from Boston, Massachusetts on 11May2007
hard story to tell
this is a hard genra to fit into, great job.the story is a good one easy to follow, and makes you want listen to the end to find out what happens, like a good ole cowboy story.country is hard to pull off ,but yall
- lstmysol from Carlsbad, New Mexico on 30Apr2007
Good song, great voice
Great piano intro. Great tone in the singers voice. The first verse is engaging enough to grab the listener and hold them until the hook, which is a great hook. The background vocals are great, they really set the chorus off from the verse. The song build really well, glad you added the background vocals through the second verse.
Disappointed in the bridge. I am glad it took the song somewhere different but it still felt weak. The song seems to fall apart at about 2:45 (after what I am calling the bridge). I was hoping this song would have had more ABABCB form, if it did then it might have a shot at radio. If it is meant as just an album cut, then it works. It takes guts to do a song with just piano and acoustic, I think you
pulled it off. I would have liked to have heard that angel voice at the end a little sooner.
- OSMR from High Point, North Carolina on 27Apr2007
Ok...
The vocals were nice. I kind of got lost in the song. Not sure what it was exactly about. The tracks were done well. Would have to hear more of this artist to be sure what lies beneath...

Piano intro?
I was a bit shocked by the piano intro. Most country songs start off with a giutar solo of kick pickup. The lyrics are very unimaginative, and they don't really make sense. It's as though any word that rhymed was used.

Another Mark Chestnut song
I like the vocals. Very reminiscent of M. Chestnut's the believers. I'm not crazy about the lyrics. Credit where it's due, it has a good melody, good overall vocals. Interesting aspects to the vocal phrasing. It would be a good song for softer female vocals. Not crazy about this song. Arrangement is adequate.

great song/bit too long
I liked this song from the start, great vocals, good playing, and a potentially a good song, but it becomes a little tedious, it could be condensed into a great radio track but is way too long
- dixiewombat from Albury, New South Wales, Australia on 15May2007
Almost love it
Really lovely melody, and excellent keyboard. The song is beautifully mixed. Vocals are absolutely solid. My only issue is the lyrics, which sound a little bit like an After-School Special. It's tricky to deal with such serious subject matter in this format and still sound legitimate.
- Pac14 from Boston, Massachusetts on 11May2007
hard story to tell,great job.
this is a hard genre to fit into, great job.the story is a good one easy to follow, and makes you want listen to the end to find out what happens, like a good ole cowboy story.country is hard to pull off ,but yall did it perfectly.

Ok...lets see.
The vocals were so nice I kind of got lost in the song. Not sure what it was exactly about. The tracks were done well. Would have to hear more of this artist to be sure what lies beneath...very deep..very good
- RickUnderwood from Irving, Texas on 15Apr2007
A heavy tune addressing a heavy scene
The piano on this is real rich and and the band stays behind it all the way.It made me feel the conflict of hanging in through an imperfect relationship and the meloncholy that such a commitment can bring so I think the performance did it's job of living up to the pretty heavy subject matter of the tune
- RenoSunday from Wilds Of Northern Ontario, Ontario, Canada on 29Mar2007

origianal approach to this genre
I like the vocal treatment here It has a lyric that makes me take the song seriously and given the storyline thats what the artist is looking for!!!
I like the track I has quite a few melody shifts all of which work well
The band supports the vox well
Its got a original approach to the counrty genre i have not heard on GB before!!!

- delevergin from Kyneton, Victoria, Australia on 20Mar2007 Great Sound

Lyrics from the Soul
Reviewer: David A Eitel from Cumming, Georgia
If the melody is a musicians face, then surely the lyrics are his soul. Andy Easton quickly takes us into the passages of his soul in this haunting work, accented by a piercing guitar. The lyrics in these songs will resonate for weeks in your head. Echoes of Eden... what could have been, and what is to come. - CDBABY

Reviewer: CMJ ,Sept, 15
The Tin Roof has what it takes, and they prove it every time they set foot on stage. We saw them live in Atlanta prior to reviewing this CD. Altough this cd could have a better mix the songs do not fall short in any way. The Cd hits hardest with songs like "Right here with me", pops with "I Wouldn't Lie", and has an 'anthem-esque' feel with the track "Blood River"...but we believe that the most radio friendly track is "Do You Believe". A powerful yet catchy ballad that has all the attributes of a hit single. Great debut for the band. - CMJ Sept
Music with Depth, March 11, 2004
Reviewer: Robert L. Harrell from Atlanta, GA
For people who enjoy music from singer-songwriters, it doesn't get much better than this. The CD bypasses the often shallow material and format that most artists churn out to uncritical consumers. Every song on this CD has its charm, but the CD really hits hardest with the track "Blink," a song about how lives can change forever in the blink of an eye. Easton has a sound of desperation and longing in his voice, as if he has a story to tell, and if he is unable to tell it, he will be consumed by it. I wholeheartedly recommend this disc to anyone looking for music with a great contemporary rock, folk sound. - Reviewer Robert Harrell

STP guitars with a country singer. Very southern.... you can realy hear the draw in the singer. I love the harmonies. The singer is good. The mix isnt the best, but i hear the finished product. Guitars sound full and well rehearsed. Drums are tight. I realy dig this song.... Keep it up

Bluesy rock
Nice bluesy rock guitar riff - a bit Led Zep. Nice bassline too. The main guitar riff was the hook for me along with the verses bassline actually - had me grooving along. The arrangement works well for me - the overall production was maybe a bit 'fuzzy'. Great guitar solo. Felt it had a bluesy, classic rock feel to it - and very well done. That guitar riff....cool!

Yeah old school hard rock
Yeah this harkens to the days of Whitesnake, Poison, and Kiss. I love it. Great guitar tones. Great full sounds. There is a touch of new alt. sounding rock in there, you can probably still pull this off to the "newer" audience members.
Nice production, clean mix except guitar could be up higher or fuller in the mix. Guitar has a great tone, leads are good volume, but the rythyms I wanted to hear better and more of. Great chops, and I like that the leads are a bit restrained in favor of maturity and tastefulness.
Great lyrics...love the "hold a lighted candle to my soul." Man, if you guys are on the east coast or maybe Chicago, there is still alot of audience for this style of rock, and I hope you're doing well. Cause this song rocks!
Extra points for lyrics, male vocals, and melody. Guitars were oh so close to getting the nod for extra credit!

Yeah...Here...We Got It!
The song is a kind of rock really genuine and fresh. I Like the production, every instrument have a good sound and I can hear them very well.
The arrangement is easy but done very well, very good in the guitar solo stuff, finally a guitarist that made his guitar fly!
I like the melody, I like that the song grows on all togheter till the chorus where it blows up.
Great voice the lead singer, and very good idea that backin vocals that gave a lot to the song.
I think that some kind of radio would pass it without any doubt!
Good luck guys, keep on rockin!

Rockin track
This song has modern rock hit written all over it so far. All tones sound great... love the drums, guitar tones, etc.. Vocal harmonies are solid. This reminds me of Sister Hazel to a degree. This is one of the few songs that I've reviewed where I actually believe what the music is saying... you sell it well. Oh, lookout for the guitar solo... very nice. I'd listen to this song again. Perhaps it'll end up on the iPod. Good song.

Lickin' The Chops
This rockin' track serves up a classic hook with enough good vibes to get even the tightest butt shakin'. The arrangement is meaty and sticks to the ribs, leaving any feverishly starved rock-n-roll fan lickin' his/her chops. Nothing down about this mood, so get up off your feet and spin this joint another time.

Very Blues Traveler
This makes me very much think of Blues Traveler. I like the voice, and the backing vox. The song is catchy, so the hook is effective. The mood of this piece is kind of a happy go lucky thing, and it is effectively conveyed. The song seems to be lacking in the originality department. The lyrics are well written though. Production is strong.

Modern Southern Rock
This sounds good, rocks hard and everyone plays well - I'm just left a little bored, its very generic hard rock
Maybe its just been a long day and I've heard too much good average songs on GB.
This blends Southern Rock with the harder more modern side of rock. Cool stuff, sorry I'm not getting more excited. The guitar solo is a little dated and just goes the wrong side of "trying too hard", remember you can sound good by playing less notes.
Keep on rocking, it all sounds great!

Driving tune, with unique vocals
Vocals are very unique in this tune, reminding me of Ian Astbury (The Cult) and Chris Cornell (Audioslave, Soundgarden). The arrangement is very well done, with precise melodies, tight performance on the guitars, and memorable lyrics. The chorus was strong, reminding me of a hybrid of 80's hard rock and 90's grunge/metal. Mood of the song was raw, gritty, and in your face. A job well done, indeed.

Interesting mix of influences
This one has modern pop rock, 90's alternative and 80 hair metal elements. It's a very interesting sound. The vocals are not spectacular, but they are sufficent. The band plays very well together and the hook draws you in and doesn't let you go. The arrangement suit the song and the length is about right. Good job mates.

Rocking!
Like the way the tune got sweeter at the chorus and less the "gruff rock posturing" of the verse. I think this would do well on FM radio in the states, good driving music. Solid vocal and well recorded track overall

Tones
The tones are very generic, the song itself sounds very melodic, but the guitar are just generic. So my suggestion is to stand out amongst the crowd, search for new tones. If you change that one little thing I think, you will really be able to get some attention, cool song:)

Good musicianship
Lots of great players in the band. The vocals are sitting on top of everything, I think the band would benefit from more focus. I wonder if these guys rock out harder on other songs, this is a good mellow rocker, I'd like to hear what else they've come up with. It's cool to have multiple hooks and vocalists, but the band has enough going for it that it doesn't have to rely on that alone, like it mostly did on this one.

Kicking intro with a great lead guitar. Nice level on the vox and awesome harmonies! I totally get all the lyrics which is a rarity in rock and pop music these days. I love it. The hook is a cool surprise as well. The name Jessica works great in the song too. The singers voice is really nice. It's obvious he has a really good ear and nice pitch. Drum track is really tight. This track is produced awesomely in general. I like the chord structure under the lyric, "And with a pocket full of dreams we fly"! Nice variation on the double chorus too. Great job on the songwriting, the vocal, the lyrics, the production, and the performance on all the instrumental tracks! This song rocks! :)

Catchy, nice arrangement
Some general comments: Excellent musicianship. The lead guitar part in the intro is tasteful and not overdone. The drum track is very solid and mixed very well. Vocals blend nicely. Good use of harmonies. Very tight.
Mood: The chorus has a definite pop feel to it, which contrasts with the heavier verses. The chorus definitely provides a "lift" in comparison to the verse. I'd like to hear a few more backing vocals in the chorus.
Arrangement: Nice job here. Not the usual verse, bridge, chorus, repeat. I like the changes, you guys mixed it up nicely.
Hook: Catchy hook. A bit unexpected in comparison to the general mood of the rest of the song but it seems to work. It definitely stuck in my head.

Good song
This song is not too bad. I think the mix is unbalanced and the vocals are too hot. I really don't know where the hook is, I guess it must be in the guitars but I can't tell. The arrangement is good. The mood is kinda melancholy because of it's lyrical content.

Classic rock w great vocalist
Love the guitar run at the start - instantly engaging.
Then, joined by a pro vocalist, and totally cool harmonies.
Gorgeous guitar lines, including the hook.
But I wish the vocalist would hook around the guitar hook for a few moments. I think it would be the single most singable moments. Sing with the trill, not against, if that makes any sense. Cause I want a single vocal hook to go with the rest of this great production.
The actual hook "Jessica's ways," or whatever it is, doesn't come out strong till the last time. Try putting that one in the first position, with all of it's audible angst.
Otherwise, awesome.
Good Luck!

Inoffensive
Good right off the top. The cymbals are rather tinny, unfortunately. I wish the little guitar leads here and there had a bit more umpf to match the rest of the feel. Not too much, of course, but as they are they're a bit precious. The vocals are way to hot in the mix from edge to edge. Nice progression choice at time 2:45 and others like it. The extro after 3:13 is very good (except for the hits at 3:35 which, though examples of good tight playing and joie de vivre, are self-indulgent). Good job, generally. Wish it had a bit more meat. That said, this is precicely the kind of thing that would get picked up for use in a commercial. Work it, baby!

NIce melody
Interesting melody at the beginning of the song. Vocals come in strong right off the bat and the singers voice is engaging. Reminds me of Bon Jovi's solo album. It's good for the listener when the singer tells a story with the song and the singers lyrics are interesting but overall the song doesn't do muc for me as the chorus is weak. The production is well done and well mixed.

Confusing
Mood - beginning contrast between angry and 'feel good', but becomes more relaxed in chorus. Confusing mood actually.
Arrangement - don't like it, seems disjointed.

Calling Jessica
Good interesting start, grabs the attention straight away. The hook is good, nice and interesting. The Vocals are too loud though, can't hear the rest of the band very well. The singing is pretty good, seems in tune. I like the melody, it's got good variation, and the harmonies are good. Overall a really good track, just sort those levels out.

Bio
Andy Easton & The TIN ROOF from Atlanta Georgia
"From the first moment of their performance the frontman literally explodes from the stage and the rest of the band doesnt let up until the last note is played! Whether he's got aStrat, a Les Paul, 6 or a 12string acoustic slung on his shoulder and running back and forth across the stage, or dominating a grand piano, he is in command and you are captivated. The lead guitar is powerful and precise...and the backing vocals are signature.
The Bass & Drums create a thumping, driving section that propells the band forward through the most slamming arrangement or quietly and hauntingly through a ballad that you actually want to hear. The tremendous added instrumentation of more guitars, mandolin, banjos, GuitJos, brings a fulness to the band that is undeniable.
They never stands still...you'll never get a picture in focus of these guys.
This is the next big Rock Country Pop crossover band that Rocks harder than most rock bands. The best songwriting to come out in years and, a band focused on longevity.
