I checked out these cats at the Hollywood Bar and Grill! These dudes mixed live instrumentation with raw Hip Hop and R and B on original and classic instrumentals. Westside Clyde killed it with his energy and raunchy flow while Locksmith smoothed it out on the backend, both riding funky guitar riffs and bottom bass! While The Talented Tenth was born in Los Angeles, where they met in a studio session, their roots are in the South. Westside Clyde hails from Georgia, raised in North Carolina and Locksmith in Kentucky. The two group members bonded over their mutual love of funk and soul music, and have been since dedicated to bringing music that will bring together the feel-good vibes of those classic genres with hip hop that’s ready for an era of change. “I’m Living” celebrates, well, living and is a testament to their personal philosophy of positivity they’re determined to bring to the game.
