Bio
The Slow Show are a recently formed Manchester based indie folk rock band with a dynamic, warm sound. Drawing on a diverse range of influences, they combine the skilled musicianship of modern day bands such as Elbow with the quality melodic songwriting of classic artists like Neil Young. Particular musical touchstones for the band include Chicago based Wilco and Brooklyn's The National. Other influences include the legendary Bob Dylan and Tom Waits, the psychedelic experimentation of Beirut and the melodic brilliance of Brian Wilson.
