Watch out world, rock & roll is about to get Slippery. Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio where the rats run free, The Slippery Lips contoured up a mix of dirty rock n' roll, punk and garage to keep your hearts beating fast and your knees shaking.
Tired of being playing the role of the supporter or the muse, the Lips sound was necessitated by the desire of vocalist Jesse to break free from the typical restraints of the rock & roll boy’s club, recruiting fellow female rockers Jen & Amber on guitar and bass. Not wanting to keep anyone out of the party, Macy Fox was brought on to keep the beat and bring the meat.
Fueled by a simmering stew of sex, alcohol and (faux) leather, the Lips are brewing up a writhing combination of punk attitude, glam aesthetic, and rock sensibility for any gender.
Their dirty, raw and sexy live performances are sure to make the audience move. The Slippery Lips are bringing back rock n' roll full force. Don't be scared to jump on stage, shake your butt or spit back at them, they only bite a little.
