Oh, to be young. Not for The Sheratons the bleak, gritty, gnarly observations of neither ponderous souls, nor the downcast haddock-mouthed sounds to accompany them. The Sheratons are good young, old-fashioned indie pop band. At a pinch, they’re an indie rock band, but they wouldn’t want to panic your mum. Their suitably springy, stupidly catchy debut single is about making the most of youthful exuberance – even if you’re in an unglamorous small town like Bingley.... - Mi2n

Remember the hazy, jasmine-scented days of 1984? I’m not sure I do either but you can close your eyes and listen to The Sheratons’ debut single and get pretty close. The Sheratons have all the indie pop guitar jangle without the glum faces, in fact, their fresh-faced, upbeat ear worms are just the tonic for a musical landscape which is continually insisting we take everything very seriously.... - Sonic News
Probably the best things to come out of Bingley (not quite Bradford, but not quite Leeds either), The Sheratons have been described as a good, young, old-fashioned indie-pop band. You can see exactly why in the first ten second of their new track ‘Better Days’.... - Indie Biscuits
Pinned as a good young, old fashioned indie pop band, with a sound defined as ’80’s Paisley Underground Brew,’ The Sheratons are a four-piece hailing from Bradford. Although they are only just starting out, their single “Better Days” has an accomplished sound that feels as though it would fit nicely within the late 60’s era; which would simply be put down to their mutual love of music. The single talks about getting older and missing the younger years – a safe haven for any upcoming band to write about, providing the euphoria to remind us of those halcyon days. It’s refreshing to chat with a band who are dipping their toes in to a slightly different genre, and taking inspiration from not only the artists they grew up listening to, but from the other local bands currently on the scene.... - She Talks Music

Todays’ Single of The Week is Better Days courtesy of Yorkshire indie-pop-rock quartet The Sheratons.
A snappy upbeat tune, Days sounds like something straight out of the Paisley Underground cutting room floor. The 1980s DIY scene was being recognisable through jangly guitars, rich vocal harmonies, and a Californian psychedelia aesthetic. Living through bands like The Bangles, The Dream Syndicate and The Byrds to name just a couple.... - New Music Platform

Bingley indie-pop foursome The Sheratons head to Manchester Academy on 22 September ahead of the release of their debut single Better Days.
Contrasting bleak, gritty, gnarly observations with an indie-pop sound (they admit that at a pinch they may be indie rock), the quartet are filled with youthful exuberance.... - Live-Manchester
- Riot Me Mag
From deep Yorkshire, this group of musicians are proving to everyone that being young is the best.

Forget the British pop invasion of America in the 60s, far more potent and exciting is the Yorkshire indie armies lining up to revolutionise glum, shoe-gazey music scene.... - Lightning Nation
Hooray! The Sheratons, we’re hearing, are heralding the return of The Paisley Underground, the indie-pop movement that actually WAS crying out for resurrection. Better Days has all the hallmarks of the unassuming, yet sparkly scene that politely excused itself during the 1980s and has been meekly waiting to be invited back in again. First have a listen to their cracking new song, then investigate our recommendations for other Paisley Power Pop Princes and Princesses.... - Tee Total Guitar
Behold The Sheratons, the cyber-sixties indie four-piece who you could happily plonk in any era from the fifties onwards and get your moneys-worth! They have just THREE dates left on their current tour. Check out the dates below and then watch their video too.,,, - Tours And Times
Once upon a long ago, as Paul McCartney once said, there was a band called The Honeycombs. Part of the early 60s wave of British beat pop groups, they were most famous for their single, “Have I the Right?”, though at the time, the thing most likely to turn heads was the fact that their drummer was a woman – Honey Lantree. What has this to do with West Yorkshire beat combo, The Sheratons? Well, The Honeycombs were originally called, yes, The Sheratons.... - Help Yourself Music
I can almost hear that friend everyone has who loves their 00’s indie complaining about Arctic Monkeys change in direction after ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’ and complaining that guitar is dead. If only there was fresh bands making that sweet cherpy indie nectar? WELL… The Sheratons are here to save the day!... - Pop Loving Tarts
Underground Indie band, The Sheratons are set to start their rise with new single ‘Better Days’, which will please all your music loving needs.
The youthful outlook on life the Sheratons posses, will most likely convert any of us into life loving and enthusiastic music Listeners. This is all down to the work and style that each member has brought forward, making the Sheratons a dangerous but welcoming force.... - Somebody Told Me Music
