Round Two with Bodog Battle in Vancouver
Back for our second show at the Roxy in Vancouver, we could sense the tension in the air. The bands are all good, and have practiced since the audition round. Bodog Music ’s headliner, Soma City Ward broke the ice to get our bands warmed up for the show. It’s no wonder these bands are nervous, folks. That $1 million recording contract with Bodog Music is just around the corner. Be sure to get tickets to a live show in your area so you can support your favorite band and tell us in person who you think deserves to move on in the battle.
Starting us off, The Rose Alarm gave us a confident and tight performance. This four-piece band is fronted by a female vocalist. Their melodic songs had a driving beat that’s definitely radio friendly. Way to go! - Bodog music

Diversity Characterizes Bodog Battle in Vancouver
We just can’t get enough of the talented folks who show up at Vancouver’s one and only Plaza Club to strut their stuff. We are surprised over and over again with a wide range of material of all genres. Such diversity and energy is always a nice touch. Fans really showed their support by coming out to see the bands. Become one of those fans: get tickets to a live show near you.
Machina kicked off the evening with some strong rock music. This four-piece group was a strong opening act and was made up of great musicians. The Rose Alarm , the next band to play, was fronted by a dynamic female vocalist. They took the stage by storm, and will be moving on to impress the judges. - Bodog Music

Propelled by one of the most unique voices on today’s indie music scene, The Rose Alarm are fresh off the release of their self titled debut CD. Formed in Vancouver BC in 2006, The Rose Alarm have been hard at work compiling, what has been described by many as being, a collection of well written and commercially viable rock/pop gems. Fronted by Pamela Viana and featuring Ricardo Viana on drums, Frank Sala on guitar, and Orlando Kutic on bass, this Vancouver quarted is set to take the music world by storm.
