The Roncy Boys

Bio
"The RONCY BOYS" unlikely beginnings root back to Fall of 2010 when two songwriters originally both from Windsor: Colin Edgley and Christian Aldo joined forces and decided to share an apartment in Toronto's West side neighborhood of Roncesvalles.
Fortunately along with Christian, came his favorite heirloom, his baby grand piano, the perfect tool for the two songwriters to collaborate. The chemistry was perfect and the melodies came naturally, infectious little pop tunes ranging from edgy to romantic and infused with intentionally provocative lyrics. With Christian's surprisingly well ranged vocal capabilities, and Colin's creative piano instincts the two started preforming live in just a few short months to local venues filled with enthusiastic audiences.
The long search for the right percussionist was finally completed when Shane Miersch, another Windsor native joined the line up. With his thundering, rock inspired drum beats, acting as counterpoint to their melodic arrangements, The Roncy Boys had finally locked into their sound.
After 2 years and 16 original songs, their set list gives an inspired nod to rock opera, ragtime, soul, psychedelic rock, and 70s glam. Armed with a daring bravado, The Roncy Boys are busting out with their hip-shaking levity and head-bobbing gravity.
Quick! Cover the ears of your teenage daughters, before they too, fall under the irresistible spell of "The RONCY BOYS”.
