Bio
The Reveal is a female fronted rock/indie/pop band from Los Angeles, CA. The group of rock steady performers takes over the stage with a fun, energetic vibe. Influences include Aerosmith, No Doubt, Muse, & Paramore.
It began when C.C. Wyle (lead vocals) dreamed of one day performing on the stages of Los Angeles. With her notebooks of lyrics in hand, she sold her belongings and took off from Chicago heading towards the City of Angels.
At the same time James Austin (drums) was also driving west from Boston in pursuit of his dream to play in a rock band. On the way he stopped in Memphis to pay his respects to the King of Rock & Roll before reaching California.
It was a chance encounter at a Hollywood Halloween party where C.C. and James first met. Music sparked their conversation and the duo immediately started writing together. Songs were quickly adding up, so they reached out for more players to join the band.
Stephen Herring (keys, backing vocals) grew up in Virginia and met James in college where they had performed together. After graduation he wanted to be in LA and once there he was introduced to the band.
Together the three musicians have combined their diverse personal styles to create and develop the sound of The Reveal. Sharing the stage with them are talented friends Henry Wadsworth (guitar) and Brad Fell (bass).
