THE RAVENERS
Swing Rock at it’s best! Singer and songwriter Jessy Howe and guitar player and producer Chris Muzik (Bligg, Adrian Stern) formed "The Raveners" in October 2007. It's thanks to mx3.ch that their first radio single "You Gotta Swing" can be listened to on Swiss national radio DRS3. After releasing their first album “Ravenous” in Switzerland (Muve) their second radio single "Boy You Wanna" was listed in the Swiss radio charts. Silversonic Records enabled their album to be released in Germany (H’ART) and their single "You Gotta Swing" got airplay on over 20 German radio stations.
With bass player Géza Burghardt and keyboardists Dave Macloed and Dean Montenegro they truly are a ravenous lot. Or rather a whole lot of groove, plenty of crunchy rock n' roll and a subtle attitude à la the 30ties. Marvelous and delicious tunes that will make you wanna shake, dance, sing and dream along as well. Jessy Howe's voice however definitely does not agree with her angelic looks. You would believe a "darker" soul was in possession of such a lassie.
Fresh, new and ravishing. Let’s swing and rock girls and boys … "The Raveners" are in town!
