Bio
The Raft is a six-piece rock/funk/reggae band from Westfield, Massachusetts. Formed in the Winter of 2009, The Raft works hard to create original music with roots in R&B, Rock and Roll, Reggae, Jazz and Funk. Influences for The Raft range from Led Zeppelin to Jay Z, from Bob Marley to Rage Against the Machine. The Raft is also influenced by African rhythms and performs as an African drum ensemble. This band creates a unique sound unlike any other.
