Born Robert Kanoonya to the late Ben Kanoonya and Sylivia Kanoonya in Gombe Wakiso District. Started his music carrier at the age of 5 reading , writing and playing instruments, at the Roman catholic mission boarding School in Kamuli District, developed the carrier in Kampala working with Bands like Afrirena Jazz band, Bantu’s Band, Elly Wamala, Diamonds Production, Sky Waves, Outspan Brass Band etc this was achieved between 1996 to early 2000. - www.musicuganda.com

Rob Prophet and The Prophets we have so far released one album called Holiday of love now selling internationally.
We have got a new album which will be released late this year and its called WE NEED LOVE. The album has already been internationally copyrighted and now with the record company in the production process.
Holiday of love album can be found on Ebay UK and USA, Irie-records in Germany, all South African Online shops, Kalahari in East Africa etc.

The band has made it a mark to send sensitive messages world wide through our roots Reggae Music. We are 13 on stage without our executive producer and sound engineers.
Rob Prophet and The Prophets we have been influenced by Bob marley, Peter Tosh and Lucky Dube to whom we look upon as our idols.
The electrifying stage leaves no one in the crowd seated because we believe that music is enjoyment not only singing but through dance and drama and creativity of the instrumentalists and the other performers.
