"Loud, raucous and bluesy, the P-Hibs played one of their best shows Saturday night, due in part to the return of guitarist Mike Nauman, who had been studying in Belgium since January. Though the no-frills garage rock quartet pays respect to influences like The Kinks and The Rolling Stones, The Prohibitionists’ gritty, blues-tinged rock ‘n’ roll has the soul and the skill to stand out in the Midwest music scene." - Each Note Secure
"Some bands strive to capture the Rock and Roll sound of yesteryear. Others sample bits and pieces of the genre to give their sound just a bit of an edge. Other bands say they are Rock and Roll just because it's a guaranteed attention getter from music fans looking for a bit of that old-time magic. Then there's The Prohibitionists. Sounding like the second coming of the Rolling Stones, with their heavily Blues influenced brand of Rock, this local quartet lives and breathes the '60s. Sprinkle a little bit of Punk on top of the Mick Jagger swagger, and you've got The Prohibitionists' sound in a nut shell." - City Beat
"Fans of no-nonsense garage rock and soul will fall in love with The Prohibitionists from Cincinnati. The group performs a familiar hard driving sound like so many of their forebearers, yet they seem to have a vibe that is all their own. Singer Bryan Sespico pumps out buckets of energy on top of the band's 60s drenched blues with rockabilly and punk influences." - MPMF 2010
