the OTHERSIDE

KENO and Wallsuace live on opposite sides of the country but still find a way to provide listeners with a prolific sound of music. The duo began working together in August of 2007. They released their first EP entitled "To ILL-finity & Beyond" in November of 2007. After receiving success on the internet from the EP, Wallsauce and KENO decided to become a group and formed the OTHERSIDE. Now the OTHERSIDE is working diligently on providing the world with a provocative sound reminiscent of the "glory" days of the culture mixed with an original twist that reflects the other side of hip hop.

Wallsauce is a producer from Charlotte, North Carolina who is largely influenced by the work of the world renowned producer 9th wonder. He has worked with several different artists such as Capital Ill, Universal Language, Haz Solo, Cable Car Stars and the Justus League's very own Chaundon, just to name a few. His style of work is best described as nostalgic because of his illustrious style of drum patterns over an array of chopped samples from the 1970's to the mid 80's.

KENO is an mc hailing out of Salinas, California. KENO is influenced by many artists such as: Phonte (little brother), Jean Grae, Wordsworth, Rakim and many more. KENO has worked on various projects in his career. He has worked with artists: eSSai, ed.WORD, Def Piece, and Producer Re*Source to form a group once known as theZOO. In 2006 KENO released an album with theZOO entitled "We're Hella Good For Being Sorry." In 2008, he combined with eSSai to create another album as an emcee duo called the 2ndRd Draft Picks entitled "the WRITE Brothers." KENO has an eclectic style of composing lyrics and is eager to broadcast his wide variety of styles to all listeners.
