Standout tracks on the album include the summer hip hop vibe of The Lines, with Mojo the Cinematic sharing the mic with Delta and the guys from The Dap-Kings on trumpet and guitar. - www.lookupinthesky.com.au
"Dave Guy and Tom Brenneck joined with Mojo the Cinematic, multi-talented MC and vocalist of NY hip hop band Dujeous, and Apex, the band's bass guitarist, to weave a hardcore tapestry in the classic funk style of James Brown's 'Give it up or Turn it Loose' over Delta's stomping drum programming to create “The Lines”. A typically atypical song about the perils of infidelity, “The Lines” is our first taste of Delta’s new opus, The Second Story." - Stealth Magazine
"The welcome return of MC and vocalist Mojo the Cinematic, who also blessed Delta’s debut album, turns lead single “The Lines” into a tour de force. Underpinned by two members of New York’s legendary Dap-Kings band, trumpeter Dave Guy and guitarist Tommy Brenneck, it’s an open handed examination of the perils of cheating..." - www.yancey.com.au
"...when I inform you I listened to The Lines (which comes in at 2 minutes 30 seconds) on Delta’s album The Second Story over and over and over, you’ll begin to understand this song is something truly spectacular.
In this one song, Delta, with the help of Mojo the Cinematic and Tom Brenneck and Dave Guy of the Dap Kings has managed to craft the perfect song. It starts off subtly with bass and percussion, with Delta’s rhyme about bad relationships dropped over the top, and builds into a gigantic funk chorus with brass, guitar and singing, and you can’t help but smile and groove away to it. Unfortunately its two verses are over so quickly, it leaves you begging for more." - www.inthemix.com.au
Taken from the forthcoming 'Mark B Presents Delta; The Greater Good' album, is the strong lead single of the title track, featuring Mojo. The production of 'The Greater Good' is really light and warm with a very chilled atmosphere of simple drums and soulful loops. The Australian rapper's verses are all heavy, of a quite mature lean and the sung hook adds a strong feel good factor that compliments the beat and lyrics well. The second track 'One Less Gun' features Skinnyman and is a slightly heavier number. Atmospheric keys, a solid and traditional set of drums and some nice bass make up the loop and there's a nice suitable sample. Both Delta and Skinny's verses are heavy, dropping science about gun crime and violence. The single includes a radio, full length and instrumental version of both tracks and is a great taster of what's to come on the album, which will surely be very good stuff. It's been a while since we've had a chance to hear more than the odd Mark B beat here and there, but it sounds like his time has been very productive. - www.rapnews.co.uk

Bio
Self proclaimed "brothers from another mother continent", The MoDells are Mojo The Cinematic (US) and Delta The Lostralian (AUS). This dynamic duo have brought their unique brand of hard-edged yet soulful hip-hop to their respective countries and beyond through a series of high profile releases abroad.
Delta is a multi-talented Australian mc and producer who has worked with artists including MURS and The Beatnuts. Mojo is a founding member of legendary live hip-hop outfit DUJEOUS, who have appeared onstage and in the studio alongside such artists as Kanye West and John Legend.
Mojo's soulful singing and precise lyricism are a perfect match for Delta's razor-sharp raps and stellar production. The Lostralian digs deep in the crates, becoming known as much for his encyclopedic knowledge of Vinyl as he is for his fearsome lyrics and amazing freestyle abilities.
The two artists first met several years ago in NYC while Delta was on a pilgrimage to the birthplace of the hip-hop music that he loved so much. Brought together by mutual friends T1 and Vast Aire (of Cannibal Ox), Delta and Mojo engaged in a lyrical meeting of the minds that suddenly seemed second nature. Quickly realizing their chemistry, the two began collaborating whenever they could. This would eventually culminate in the popular Australian single "The Greater Good" from Delta's debut LP The Lostralian. The song picked up steam, garnering extensive airplay and whetting the appetites of hip-hop fans for more collaborations. When Dujeous released their well-reviewed mixtape Game 7 the following year, it included a "cover" of The White Stripes "My Doorbell" featuring Delta that went on to get airplay on several mainstream radio stations across the Australian continent.
They upped the ante this year by collaborating with Dave Guy and Tommy Brenneck of The Dap Kings for their current single "The Lines" which has proved to be their most successful collaboration yet. Getting A-Listed on Triple J radio and recieving a remarkable amount of airplay for so-called "underground" rap artists, the stage is set for the MoDells to cement their reputations as 2 of the most dynamic hip-hop performers on either continent.
Having headlined two Australian national tours and several dates in NYC, they are currently working on their first full project as a duo with Delta handling the bulk of production duties. Their unique bond has already created indelible music, and they plan to continue creating even more.
