The Matadors are a horrorbilly trio based out of London Ontario who offer up an eerie mixture of reverb-soaked guitar and high octane psychobilly in the tradition of groups like Rev. Horton Heat,Tiger Army and Nekromantix.
The Matadors live show is reminiscent of a 1950's horror movie complete with live theremin playing and ghoulish stage hands attired in black robes and hoods with a few tricks up their sleeves! Never the same show twice, a Matadors performance can include anything from undead burlesque girls to a fire spitting guitar to a full-sized being brought out on stage containing a zombie/exotic dancer girl that is sure to scare at least half the audience stiff!
