The LiQU!D

Four individuals of varying musical influences communing together to audibly explore the interstellar regions of both time and space. Dedicated to being devoid of stylistic boundaries and as fluid as their name intends, the four intricately weave in between carefully crafted original material and improvisational whimsy. The band is tight, at an almost molecular level, from almost a decade of playing together they have honed their sound which is unique but yet derived from a deep seated love of music of all genres…with the vigor and exploratory nature as classic influences like Pink Floyd, the Grateful Dead and Led Zeppelin coupled with modern elements found in influences such as Pearl Jam, Radiohead, moe. Beck, STS9, etc.... Their sound is unmistakable yet difficult to describe in words as it ranges from nonsensical to cerebral and all musical frontiers in between. It is as if a haphazard dollop of funk, rock, reggae, blues, new-grass, jazz, electronica and that sludge leftover from the merry prankster's bus were all thrown into a chemistry beaker, heated to their melting point and slingshot into space…..that may closely resemble the uniqueness that is The LiQU!D. The LiQU!D is hitting the road again in early 2014 to support their first full length studio album title: Hydro Logic. The LiQU!D has been blessed with opportunities to share the stage with such great artists as Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds, Dog Star Blue, Otherwise, Rubblebucket, Sparkplug, Jeff Bujak, In the Dark, and many more.
