The Leitmotif formed in 2010 and after recording their first EP "One day, one night" started playing live. The band received favourable airplay on Nova FM's Adelaide Show, interviews on Radio Adelaide, as well as being included in the JayJay's in store playlist for Australia and New Zealand.
The Leitmotif recorded their second offering "summerskin" in late 2011. Which is available online, and will be physically released in early 2012.
In the past year The Leitmotif have shared the stage with a host of interstate and local acts such as: Faker, Loon Lake, The Holidays, New Navy, The Cairos, Young Heretics, as well as playing a string of headline shows.
