*Quote about Immortals Project producer, Duplicuts*
In-house group producer Duplicuts slices, cuts, and recreates this dominant instrumental using samples (all cleared!), live instrumentation, and hard bass that upholds gritty raps and the hard-street essence of the boom bap era. Duplicuts also creates a space for a call-and-response between group members without being overbearing, and still gives space for all elements to cohesively breathe. - Erin Lowers (Sonicbids)

Shining Shadow presents The Immortals Project featuring the homies El Da Sensei and Duplicuts. Crazy dope track gets an equally dope video! -- Kevin Nottingham / owner of KevinNottingham.com Blog [The Underground Hip Hop Authority] - Kevin Nottingham
Upon reading the title Affirmative Action, I immediately though of The Firm’s classic drug-dealing single. Booth newcomers The Immortals Project, which has a “rotating membership” that currently consists of beatsmith Duplicuts and veteran emcee El Da Sensei, have made me forget all about The Firm with their equally uneasy tune. The cut’s gritty, hard-nosed approach is established by Diplicuts edgy, clacking production and is matched by EL Da Sensei’s punch-you-in-the-mouth flow. The track itself, which is not over-produced, gives the veteran emcee’s brash, assertive bars an extra kick. There is no word on more work from The Immortals Project, but with an interesting concept on display, expect to hear more very soon. -- Lucas G. / editor at DJBooth.net - DJBooth.net
'Count It Off' was picked up by The Hype Machine as a 'Song of the Day'. - The Hype Machine
Immortals Project song 'Lyrically Righteous' featured on the first episode of the 2010 season Canadian reality show, 'In The Eyes Players'. - Backline Media
This CD can be described as supreme rawness. The Immortals Project brings a fresh new up-tempo sound to hip-hop with hard hitting electronic beats and vocals that demand attention. "Lyrically Righteous" is the track that captured me and shows off the group's originality and creativeness. The Immortals Project really brings hip-hop to the next level with a sound the world has been waiting for.

Bio
With a concept harkening back to Crooklyn Dodgers and its rotating membership, The Immortals Project come together in its most recent incarnation with El Da Sensei from the one and only Artifacts, as the lead MC with contributions from Sadat X (Brand Nubian), Internal Quest, John Robinson (Scienz of Life), and the legendary Kool Keith (Ultramagnetic MCs). With Duplicuts handling production duties, their newest album "Rogue Agents" is a chart-topping espionage/spy-themed venture set to new millennium boom bap science.
The self-titled debut EP from The Immortals Project which once again featured El Da Sensei with special guest appearance by Craig G (Juice Crew, 8 Mile the Movie) has tracks that have been licensed by Quiksilver, MTV2, as well as "In The Eyes of Players" on Candadian television. From the shattering mercurial rhythms of Break Boys to the epic beat-fest that is Count It Off, the EP is a beautiful synthesis of sweltering rhythms and Hip hop science. Crafted at The Citadel of Rhythmic and Microphonal Sciences, Duplicuts's flurry of cadenced beats are effortlessly managed by El Da Sensei and Craig G to create a source of newer, fresher oxygen.
The Immortals Project's album, "Rogue Agents" was released on Dec 17th, 2013 and has spawned three top three singles on the college charts, three award-winning videos for their songs "Affirmative Action", "Pass It Off" and "On The Rise" which won "Best hip-hop/Rap song" at the prestigious Independent Music Awards in 2015.
