The Icarus Account

The Icarus Account is a two-piece acoustic/indie pop project made up of twin brothers Trey and Ty Turner. They have released three full-length albums, and three EPs. Ty and Trey debuted their first EP in 2006 when they were freshmen in College. Over the years the band has continued to improve and refine their sound, creating a dedicated fanbase and a niche audience across the world. The twins released their newest full-length album, Carry Me Home in August of 2012. As the duos most anticipated work yet, Carry Me Home propelled them to new heights as a band as the album debuted at #5 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts. They sold over 250 physical pre-sales of the album and nearly 500 digital copies were purchased in the first week.

The Icarus Account has played shows and toured with other strong talents such as: Aaron Gillespie, Stephen Christian, Saosin, Forever the Sickest Kids, Family Force Five, Chase Coy, Stephen Jerzak, There For Tomorrow, Hey Monday, Ryan Cabrera, Alex Goot, Twenty-One Pilots and many others. Hailing from Fort Myers, FL they have multiple cross-country tours under their belt and have developed a strong cult following primarily in the East Coast and the Midwest regions. They have even begun touring in Canada and in Dec. 2012 had their first sold out international show. Purevolume has listed The Icarus Account as one of the top 10 unsigned bands in 2012 as well as awarding the track She Walks Away as the sites 8th best song of the year for 2012 joining other top talents such as Anberlin and Of Monsters & Men on that list. The Duo has also been featured in AP magazine and countless other blogs and youtube channels.

The brothers best selling track to date, Favorite Girl (over 12,500 digital singles & 250,000 streams as of Jan. 2013) was featured as the background music for the wedding announcement video for Lady Antebellums Hillary and Chris Tyrell. With plenty of new music on the way it is certain that for Ty and Trey, the best is yet to come!
