RE-UP GANG/THE CLIPSE, ACEYALONE, AKROBATIK AND MORE
CONFIRMED AS PART OF FINAL LINEUP FOR A3C HIP HOP FESTIVAL
Atlanta, GA (March 5, 2008) – The final and complete artist announcement has been
confirmed by organizers of the A3C Hip Hop Festival for next month’s event in Atlanta
from March 20-22nd. With a staggering bill including upward of thirty three acts, the
A3C boasts a comprehensive lineup reflective of the different styles, brands and sounds
found in Hip Hop today. From mainstream artists like RE-UP GANG/The Clipse to the
independent behemoths Little Brother to old school acts like Jeru all the way to the fresh
new style of artists like Wale or Blu, the A3C has managed to wrangle a lineup that
incorporates something for everyone. The complete lineup consists of:

Included in this year’s programming, there will be a number of events within the overall
festival. The iStandard Producer Showcase, a national event which highlights the beats
of up and coming producers, will be held Saturday 3/22. The A3C will also premier its
first fashion event titled Counter Couture. Counter Couture will feature sneakers and
accessories exclusively on body painted models. The international BC One B-boy jam
will be coming to Atlanta for the first time, showcasing some of the nation’s top dancers
currently. And in order to give the Southeast regional dancers a shot as well, there will
be a two on two battle titled Double Up.
Going into its fourth year, the A3C will be held in Atlanta, GA at the CW Midtown
Music Complex containing three venues within the larger facility. This year’s sponsors
include Red Bull, Myspace, URB and HipHopDX.com among others. Previously
discounted ticket prices have been increased to the final price of $45.

THE FRESH is a Hip-Hop Group that is from Atlanta, Ga. Mic Masters
and Shot J are the main members and write and produce all material.
Formed in 2005 Mic and Shot have been working on THE FRESH and
the different styles that are associated with the brand. THE FRESH
maintains a website, myspace profiles, performs, and is currently
unsigned. Distribution of material is through personally funded Unit
Sales, Tuncore Online Distribution, SonicBids, and Regional Mixtapes.

Mic Masters serves as the front man for the Atlanta duo known as
The Fresh. An mc by nature and the son of a poet, Mic has been
creating music for more than 15 years. Forming The Fresh with Shot J
in early 2005, the writer/mc has quickly made a name for himself in
Atlanta’s underground hip hop scene.

Shot J is the Producer / DJ of THE FRESH. He has been producing
beats and engineering THE FRESH for the past few years. Shot J
has been DJing for 10 years and has played at several nightclubs and
other venues in the South. Currently he is the resident DJ at the
W Hotel Perimeter Atlanta. Also he produces and maintains all technical
mediums for THE FRESH and other content.
