The Fools Of Perception

It's the great return of the concept act. Set up in the timeless tradition of Classic Rock. Along with a separated song writers approach and a unique group of live musicians, comes an outstanding rock n' roll experience. The refreshing project includes character's like, The Connection, The Passenger, The Hired Gun and The Legend. Reliving the Style and the Sound of the times with in depth content like no other, to cover the magic and intrigue of their Living Story.

In Late 2001 during a very specific and significant time, two old friends visited one another along the West Coast. One named Benson Traveled from the east, to the other one named Benny, who did not need to move from where he was. As existence changed around them they found themselves driving a 1964 Chevy Impala down the Pacific Coast Highway. As they traveled down the awe inspiring highway, the one of them who did not need to move from where he was, came into connection with an old spirit named Jacob Crane. He gave unto the connection, the "Legendary Songs of Time" and the vision for what may become of him and this old friend who was along his side. They would travel back to the east coast on an adventure that would reveal and manifest these legendary songs of time from out of their souls in which they had been placed. Jacob Crane tells them, that first they must find The Legend, a grown man who lived through the 60's the 70's and so on. He will give to them the True spirit of Rock n' Roll which will carry on through them and to all the others who would follow after.
They will be known as THE FOOLS of PERCEPTION.

All of these things came to Pass. In 2004 The Legend became the drummer in THE FOOLS of PERCEPTION and after fulfilling his destiny and playing in a rock n' roll band, he passed his sticks on.
While the others, like The Beat Down Girl (Melissa Kourie), were sad to see him go, they knew it was the way things were meant to be in our story and were filled with his timeless inspiration and the spirit of Rock n' Roll.

Today Matthew Kourie composes the timeless songs for the group and guides the live members of THE FOOLS of PERCEPTION to fulfill the Rock n' Roll experience for all the yearning fans who will remember the Real age of Rock n' Roll. For those who are young and will become old over and over again.
