"I finally got a chance to see The Followthrough's live show at Bums in Temple! I just don't get enough bands with just as good a live show, or better, as their demos to review on the local rock scene! The Followthrough, with members from Aggie town as well as the home of the Longhorns oddly enough, College Station and Austin, Texas respectively, aren't at odds with each other though like the two Big 12 enemies. Oh contrar monfrar! These guys are definitely on the same team tearing up the scene. Their music is somehow melodic and merciless at the same time. The Followthrough are cooking with a touch of alternative, and a hint of powerpop thrown in for good measure. Perhaps the most enlightening part of the live show for me was the use of the vintage mic on stage by lead man Luis Botello (Vocals). I don't know if its a Shure, but it sure sounds awesome! Luis wowed me with his ability to entertain and his vocal range and strength. Marcus Herrera (Bass) brings the funk well from below and Matthew Wyatt (Guitar) makes you wanna play Guitar Hero again! Newest addition to the band Donnie Stopa (Drums) was impressive with his ability to keep the band right on track and churning rhythm from behind to round this band out front to back. In a word, SOLID. The Followthrough have put together an infallible band with an original sound and amazing live show. Certainly a refreshing experience and I can only hope for the best for these 4 guys! ~ Dana McKenzie 107.3 The Fox in Killeen, 102.5 The Bear in Waco" - 107.3 The Fox, 102.5 The Bear

The Followthrough is an Official ERNIE BALL endorsed band.
After being signed to Crimson Sky Records in November of 2011, The Followthrough spent the next 6 months recording their first full length album in the amazing Blue Rock Studio. As the release quickly approaches, The Followthrough prepare themselves for their first tour.
In a world filled with noise, distractions, anger and pain, The Followthrough screams a message of hope, love, and faith. TFT doesn't try to act like suffering doesn't exist, they have been through much themselves, but they do offer a better alternative to self destruction and cynicism. They try to use their own experiences to show that no matter what you may be enduring, there is always hope. Their mixture of catchy riffs, steady rhythm and powerful vocals creates a sound that is familiar, but undeniably their own. TFT goes far beyond just writing good music however, with a live performance that is adrenaline soaked and nothing short of breathtaking.
Their journey began with Luis Botello (Vocals) and Matthew Wyatt (Guitar) meeting in College Station Tx, and discovering a common ground in rock music. They performed their acoustic act at coffee shops, bars, and student functions, and were amazed at the loving reception they received. Realizing they had something special, Luis and Matt set out in search of the right musicians to bring the act to the next level. This eventually brought them to Austin, where they stumbled upon Marcus Herrera (Bass). The band played all around Austin, and eventually all of Texas, until they parted ways with their drummer, and took a much needed vacation. Not entirely sure what the future held in store for them, TFT began their search for the right person to bring it all back together. That is when they found Donnie Stopa (Drums), and with The Followthrough finally complete, there is nothing that can stop them from spreading their message across the entire globe.
