2010 A.D. represents a 20 plus year, collaborative relationship and the musical offspring of Antonio (Tony) Marcello and Dionysios (D) Roussianos.
Years spent criss-crossing the country together gave birth to a musical telepathy that allows them to seamlessly weave genres together while staying true to their goal of writing Adult Contemporary Rock performed by either themselves or available for other artists. The diversity and passion becomes instantly apparent upon first audition.
Lyricist Tony Marcello was baptized in the narrative of story tellers like Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi, yet his music refuses to be defined by these influences, each one instead making up an integral ingredient in the recipe for his own musical soup. Composer D Roussianos, integrates the beauty of European melody, innovativeness of contemporary jazz and honesty of modern rock to create a three dimensional landscape from which their songs are launched. While both are comfortable in their respective roles, each one is capable of writing and composing completely or from various stages of development.
2010 A.D. delivers songs that are memorably melodic, lyrically engaging and explosive with a texture that is further revealed with each subsequent listen. Their hope is to evoke a feeling you've known, from a time you remember and a place you've been to, so that you instantly connect and want to listen again.
