Bio

As one of Montreal's most promising up and coming bands, The Falling are no rookies to the music scene. Within two weeks of their official release of their debut single "This Is The Day" The Falling reached the top #50 on Canada's Active Rock Charts. The single landed regular rotation on Montreal's CHOM 97.7fm and several online and college radio station across Canada. The band began after singer/songwriter Pat Rossi teamed up with well experienced musicians Dominic Byers on bass, Pierre Luc Brodeur on drums and Nicolas Tomaro on guitars to establish The Falling's line up.

The Falling has been featured on numerous television and radio stations such as MUSIQUE PLUS, MONTREAL's CHOM 97.7fm, LONDON'S FM96, ALBERTA's NEW ROCK NATION 106FM, 98.3fm CIFM KAMLOOPS, 94.9FM THE ROCK OSHAWA, just to name a few along with online stations such as CBC RADIO2 and CJIM MONTREAL. The Falling's track "Live for Today"  landed #1 on the top 20 indie songs of the year on CJIM radio in 2013 and their newest single "We Are The Ones" took home the #2 spot the following year in 2014. Earlier in his career Rossi had the unique opportunity to open for Bon Jovi at the Montreal Bell Center with his former band by winning the SIRIUSXM Satellite Radio Song writing Competition which became a true testament of Rossi's song writing skills. Rossi was invited back to play the Bell Center once again in 2010 as The Falling kick started the Montreal Canadiens NHL FANJAM PLAYOFFS FESTIVAL performing to over 20,000 spectators. The band has also opened for I Mother Earth (Brian Byrne) in January 2013 and legendary Gilby Clark of GunsNRoses in September of 2014. The Falling has toured Eastern Canada four times in the past year stopping in cities such as Toronto, London, Ottawa, Gatineau, Hull, Montreal, Quebec City, Beloeil and Jonquiere. They were invited to perform at the INDIE WEEK CANADA 2014 festival in Toronto and made it to the semi-finals in the judging rounds of the festival beating out hundreds of bands from around the world. The band has adopted a "grassroots from the ground up" philosophy by doing as many performances as possible. This has led them to release limited edition copies of their first full length album which sold out within a few short weeks. The band hopes to achieve widespread success with the one thing that matters most to them, real SuperFans!  Their newest single "We Are The Ones" is building momentum with college and commercial radio stations and has been added on regular rotation on CLASS 103.5fm along with several online stations such as CJIM.  It won't be long before it hits commercial radio across Canada and around the world.
