Born & Raised in Baltimore, Joe Gallagher started out in music at an early age playing Baritone in the school band(this included several performances of the "Star Spangled Banner" @ Memorial Stadium for Baltimore Oriole Baseball Games). At age 13 he picked up an electric guitar and started creating his own music. After 26 years of recording numerous albums and performing all across the United States(with Circle 9, Sporatic Sunjam, Feedback, etc.), he is releasing his first solo project...The Dread Pirate Diablo "Songs fRum Beyond the Grave" Vol.3 The Dread Pirate Diablo is a character created by Gallagher designed to set him artistically free in a new direction. Having always played in bands and participating in group efforts, The Dread Pirate Diablo is the equivalent of a "Musical Bachelor" set loose to pursue his desires. Though most of the songs/soundscapes are created by Joe Gallagher, sometimes there are other collaborators or even group efforts.
