Blues purists may disagree, but you don’t need a name like “Willyboy” or be born in Mississippi to play the blues. Everybody gets the blues from time to time. London native, Amièl Houghton and Gerry Norris, from a little west of there, met a dozen years ago at her first audition. Since then, the two have collaborated, reinventing themselves and their bands culminating in, The Dozens, a non-traditional approach to traditional blues.
