Retro rock in all its glory, The Dazzling Dooms make me happy in a way only their breed of band can. Imagine if Tantric and Staind had delicious rock sex and made a beautiful baby. If that band of babies hopped around Brooklyn, the East Village, the LES and other poppin parts of the ever-sexy NYC, it would probably be called The Dazzling Dooms. The Dazzling Doom's self-titled, five-song EP is currently available on several platforms including iTunes, Cd Baby and Amazon. The band is currently working on a full length album to be released in the fall/winter 2013.

The Dazzling Dooms have an edgy, gritty rock and roll sound. With deep distorted low-end from bassist Mark Gerlach, the wailing vocals and guitar sounds from singer Alex Leung and the Bonham-like beats from drummer Philipp Thier, The Dooms are one of the most dynamic acts currently performing in NYC.
Past shows in New York include: The Chance in Poughkeepsie, Spike Hill, The Delancey, Trash Bar, Matchless, Otto's Shrunken Head, Local 269, Fat Baby, Parkside Lounge, Grand Victory, and several other venues.
Their influences span the gamut, but are mostly honed on 80s and 90s rock. The band generally stands out on a lineup for having a unique sound that blends genres, emotion and raw energy.
