Bio
Born in mid-2008 as the brainchild of band leader, David Grauel, The David Grauel Fusion Project denies being classified into a specific genre. Citing influences such as Weather Report, Return to Forever, John McLaughlin and the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Santana, Steely Dan, The Pat Metheny Group, Herbie Hancock, and Chick Corea, their creative efforts can best be described as progressive, jazz/rock fusion. Remaining true to the definition of "fusion" music, their style incorporates elements of jazz, rock, latin, funk, and reggae. Comprised of skillful musicians, they have been lauded for their ability to blend and play so many different styles proficiently.
