Bio

The County Line's self-titled debut album was recorded by the band's very own Nic Braune and Brian Seong. The two co-worker-turned-friends began recording demos after hours in their work space-turned-studio in 2008. Nic had the songs and Brian had the capabilities to record them. Before long, these demos created the backdrop of what would become a full-length album.
"All in all, the project took two years to complete, but we didn't really know what our goal was when we first started," states lead vocalist Nic Braune. However, it didn't take long for the songs to take a distinct and unified form. With the help of good friend and notable mixing engineer Brian Shueble (e.g. Needtobreathe, Dave Matthews, Elton John, John Mayer, Wallflowers) a sonically original album was birthed.
Soon after the record's completion, what seemed like an unidentified endeavor quickly morphed in to a band. With the addition of friend and drummer Jamison Taylor French, "The County Line" took to the stage. Within 6 months, the Louisville based band had released their album, became a popular request on Louisville's own 91.9 WFPK and branched out in to their region by playing numerous shows in the Louisville, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Chicago areas. WFPK went on to name The County Line's self-titled album a Top 10 Release in Louisville for 2010.
From the the alt-rock banger "Shape Shifter", the southern-rock-Cash'esque styling of "Here Comes the Judge", and the startlingly delicate "Rails On the Train", The County Line's debut demonstrates exceptional musicianship and timeless lyrics, partnered with a mixture of styles that will capture audiences across the board.
"Anything can happen.. and Everything will.." screams the bands track '5th Dimension'. Can you believe it? Because you should. With more shows on the way and the release of their debut LP, The County Line will no doubt rise to become a musical force to be reckoned with.
