The BLock Stars

Blockstar Ent. (aka BSE) is a Wichita, Ks. based R&B and Hip-Hop Label that was started in 2003. After a delayed start due to incarcerations and set backs with prior business partners, Blockstar was up and running by 2005. The Blockstars leading act consists of Sean "Iz-Real" Gates, Pierre "Spit Shine" Allen, and Jerry "T.P." Lane. The groups main producer is Beatzmith while Iz-Real handles a lot of the business end along side T.P. The groups influences cover a wide range of artists styles from 60's southern rock to 17th century classic and some contemporary soul. Their aim is to make tasteful music and not be trapped into one style of influence, yet have a single style of music that fans can come to enjoy and love.
