San Diego, California--June 10,2008—Today’s independent musician must be a modern-day, Renaissance man encompassing a myriad of natural, as well as, learned skills. Third-generation, musician-turned producer-turned musician, JD Feighner, is a perfect example. A jack-of-all-trades hailing from San Diego, Feighner has been captivated by music his entire life (and several lifelines before him) as his mother, father, and even his maternal grandmother performed in bands and orchestras. While JD is accomplished on electric and acoustic guitars, piano, violin, trumpet, and drums, his passion for the music business flourished when he wrote an original composition for a college classmate’s final dance exam. Upon entering a production studio to finalize the piece, Feighner was hooked and immediately began working there to learn more about the business. Two years later, Feighner opened his own production enterprise, 1620 Studios, in Colorado Springs. Utilizing a compendium of professional grade equipment, including an eclectic mix of mic preamps and outboard analogue compressors, a ProTools HD 7 rig with a Digidesign Control 24 as mixing interface, and JBL’s LSR 32’s and LSR 28’s for monitoring, JD handles all engineering and production activities himself. The results speak for themselves, as 1620 has been used by a legion of up-and-coming bands, including A Novel Form, Ten After Eight, Bodycast, Step To Every Pit, Mamzers Dream, YESSURR, Young Deuce, Elision, Habitual, and others. So, what’s next for JD? The success of his production and mixing career has inspired Feighner to shift back to musical composition and performing. His debut album is set to drop this summer. The album, “Sundays at 1620”, is a diverse effort influenced by JD’s recording experiences at the studio and features Skye Lewis from A Novel Form, Kim Stone on bass, and Christian Teele on drums. With his pensive, introspective lyrics blended with skillful instrumentation and top-notch mixing, it won’t be long before JD > Feighner’s name is a familiar hallmark within the independent music industry. JD Feighner, "Sundays at 1620" has created a group of songs, that sparkle like a young James Taylor meets Brett Dennen. "Wavy Baby" is a romantic lanquid gem with the second voice adding a perfect harmony conterpoint. "Polo Barrocho" is a silky romantic turn with layers reminiscient of an updated Seal. This album has a warm and personal feel yet is as clean and perfected as a carefully polished studio effort.

The Beat Show featuring JD Feighner, Kajmir Royale & Nina Luv is concert fusing pop rock, hip hop, and R & B. We have traveled across Colorado playing shows as large of 1,500 people, selling out venues, and performing special events such as Rock the Vote during the Democratic National Convention.
Third-generation musician John "JD" Feighner is a songwriter, singer, producer, multi-instrumentalist from San Diego, CA. JD is also an accomplished producer, recording over 300 songs and 4 albums, as well as his own album 'Sundays at 1620' which sold 2,000 copies in its first month.
Since 2003, Kajmir Royale has recorded over 200 songs, written over 1,000 songs, and produced over 9,000 beats. He has over 40 million plays across the worldwide web. He's also traveled all over the world including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Paris, Africa - Johannesberg, Duban, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi.
Nina Luv, an R & B vocalist from Atlanta won four Georgia talent shows before opening for acclaimed hip hop star Lil' Wayne at the age 16.
