Bio
The Adamant, a rock alternative band from Brenham Texas, came together in August 2008. The foursome is comprised of Josh Olsen - vocals and bass, Jeremy Olsen - vocals and guitar, electric guitarist James Brown and drummer Scott Joswiak.
The four musicians came together out of their love for music and a desire to create their own unique sound. They got their start in a local church, but quickly realized their music would go much further. They have had the opprotunity to play with bands such as Stars Go Dim and Cory Lamb, and are now hitting their music full force. Their full length album titled “Who You Really Are” is set to debut in March 2010.
The Adamant has found influence in bands such as Switchfoot, Lifehouse, and The Goo Goo Dolls. Their decidedly Pop/Rock Alternative music is acoustically driven and is laden with electric guitar and drums. The bands rich vocal blend is one that can only come from twin brothers. The Adamant's music is a collaborative effort of brothers Josh and Jeremy Olsen. The lyrics are written straight from life experience, both their struggles as well as their triumphs. Jeremy said “Our desire is to produce music that not only sounds good but also pulls at a persons emotions, we want them to feel what we felt when we wrote the song.”
The Adamant definitely brings a total package from the heart felt lyrics, and unique melodies, to their undeniable love for what they do. They have a sound that appeals to all ages, and prides themselves on producing music that is perfect for every atmosphere.
