The Trap Music Orchestra exists to revive the aesthetic of The Big Band Era of the early 1900s with a sound that synchronizes orchestral arrangements, jazz harmonies, and the rhythm and spirit of trap music.These influences, including Thad Jones, Hector Berlioz,and Future, result in an experience of black music culture that brings the people back to the dance room. Beginning with arrangements of classics from artists such as Rich Boy, Gucci Mane, Migos, and Travis Scott, TMO is working on an opus of original songs, entitled “Nickels and Dimes”, capturing the essence of African-American music from all eras, and injecting them with their signature 808-and-trumpet-shake-driven sound.
