Lost Weekend is just one of the sensational tracks from the up and coming powerhouse of artists the Mondays and their latest album ‘Movers and Shakers’. The Happy Mondays may have had their time, but now it’s time for the Mondays to receive acclaim for their rhythmically raucous compositions. Their style seamlessly blends Pop Punk, Rock and Indie to provide a fresh soundscape I can guarantee you won’t have heard before.
I can say with all honesty that there aren’t many artists out there putting out such sweet, anthemic hits the Mondays clearly found a gap in the market for nostalgically-inclined, futuristically-vibrant hits. Within the track’s progression you can expect plenty of angular hooks which won’t fail to reel you into the sticky-sweet melodies. Lost Weekend is exactly the kind of track you can imagine yourself screaming your heart out to on a sticky dancefloor.
