Bio
Valentino, Jake and Adam travelled to Amsterdam seeking the meaning of life. They found it, pleasantly and conveniently packaged in the form of a cheap-as-hell nylon string at a small Amsterdanian guitar shoppe. They paid the man, the newly chastened Lil' Dutchie became a member of the troupe, and shortly thereafter The High Streets were born. Seeking to follow the footsteps of some of their favourite acts, the three starry-eyed Canadians thrust themselves into the local rock scene in London, England until they had amassed a following of friends and confused onlookers from every corner of the UK. Their persistence landed them a position hosting a weekly music showcase; headhunting other live acts, producing the show and playing a set themselves out of The Princess of Wales Pub every weekend in Stratford. After a successful 6 month stint, they flew to Spain to continue their adventure, only to witness the tragic death of Lil' Dutchie first-hand at the hands of Spanish Policia. Traumatized, The High Streets decided to return home to Canada. The first major goal was to get the demo recorded, and now that they have it in hand they will bring Surf Rock back to Canada amidst a sea of EDM and Folk music. They will show you how to dance at a rock show once more.
