Florida based band, The Groove Orient, will be hitting the road this Fall in support of their debut EP Welcome To The Show. The Groove Orient will be kicking off their Fall Tour at the Spirit of The Suwannee Music Park this weekend for Disc Jam #11, followed by performances at Bamboo Jamboo Music Festival, Pisgah Brewery, and a special Halloween weekend in New Orleans. The EP is a five track explosion, displaying the versatility, musicianship and creativity that the band boasts. With a strong local reputation, The Groove Orient has been awarded Best Experimental Act of Orlando, with additional nominations for Best Rock and Best Jazz.

The band has been on the grind playing in support of their EP, with a notable recent performance to a packed room at House of Blues Orlando as well as a southeast summer tour. The Groove Orient (TGO) is a high-powered, no-holds-barred, rock ‘n’ roll act based out of Orlando, FL. This five member group boasts a musical versatility and originality that many followers describe as ‘Jam Rock.’ TGO has drawn attention from both local and national listeners, as they earned the title of Orlando Weekly’s best Jazz band of 2015 and best experimental band of 2014, as well as a feature in Relix Magazine’s 40th Anniversary issue.
TGO recently followed up their breakout EP Welcome to the Show, with the much anticipated release of their second EP Generation Y, at the House of Blues Orlando. TGO has also performed at numerous music festivals including Suwannee Hulaween, Florida Music Festival, Orange Blossom Jamoboree, WJRR's Earthday Birthday, WPRK's Fox Fest, and many more. Touring as a headliner as well as a supporting act for numerous national touring acts The Groove Orient is quickly making a notable name for themselves.
