The Captured

The Captured is a band featuring Steve Cap (songwriter, lead vocalist, guitarist), Curtis James (lead guitar, vocals, songwriter), Paul Castillano (guitars, banjo, fiddle, mandolin), Pam Peters (vocals), John "Bo" Bowman Jr. (saxophones), Jerry Wright (trumpet), Harry Hache (bass and keys), and Russ Machus (drums). 
The Captured is a great original band with a big sound, and great talent and experience. Singer/songwriter Steve Cap recently recorded and released 20 songs as singles which are available on iTunes, as well as a self titled EP. Recently, Nashville artist Kellye Cash has recorded two of his songs on her album titled "Back home, back when".
Lead guitarist Curtis James has released his own album, and is a past Los Angeles times front page featured artist. Saxophone man John Bowman Jr., originally from New York, played for a time with the legendary Soul duo, Sam and Dave. Drummer, Russ Machus, started his carreer drumming for a band who opened for Jimi Hendrix, as well as The Byrds.
The Captured brings together this wealth of talent and experience to highlight the original music of Steve Cap, Curtis James, and to bring an original twist to some well known hit songs.
